he does it in clusters of games. not very consistent at all IMO he spent a fair bit of the middle of the season, on the bench. Fabregas and Ozil dont do that
-
Pelle - meh Juanmi - see ya Vic - big loss but been on the cards for a year Mane - should not be sold Tadic - brilliant in the last 6 games or so but like pelle, can disappear for large chunks of the season

Bound to be someone unexpected. Bertrand I reckon

it never went over the line. it was proved at the time. The whole of the ball NEVER went over the line. they beat us fair and square

So, official figures today say that 224,000 EU migrants came in the last 12 months. An all time high. That figure is set to rise further in the following 12 months Lucky for them, we don't have a housing issue so there is plenty of room for them to live and not impact on anyone else that much. Also, the police, schools and NHS have oodles of spare cash and capacity to cater for all immediately. Thankfully etc

Really weird how people are so anti betting on the shirts. Happy for under armour or adidas. Who pay about 6p an hour to someone in a shack to make the damn kit for us to pay £50 for part of it

I am so happy Liverpool lost. We are safe from the sickening scouse-fest on the radio that would have happened had they won The way the media have been creaming themselves over klopp has been embarrassing. Just because he pulls funny faces on the touch line Then you had Michael Owen last night saying that only Real Madrid and Barcelona are bigger clubs in world football to Liverpool Jesus Christ!!!

so, Koeman could leave saints as we sell our best players. To join Everton who would sell their best players? how is that progression?
-
Koeman reflecting on season very satisfied about the season the table is crazy we sit around the traditional big clubs and only 3 points from man city, fantastic it was a big challenge to improve on last season I wanted the players to be more consistent but we knew it would be difficult we had a difficult period but we reacted well to it and the players were amazing as were the fans some real crazy games at home wins against the big 6 in the league the squad is more competitive than last season the players spirit is amazing and brilliant to work with very difficult to find new players. we wanted young players to come in. we have to give them time to adapt to this league no winter break, it can be hard for outside players coming in. we knew that good experience in the europa league, experienced a different pre-season players will have learned a lot from it games against vitesse were fantastic we lost the next tie at home. it was not good enough to only get 1-1 we have to learn from it in case we need to do it again. we hope for a united win in the cup if we have to qualify for the europa league, we will make sure we get into the groups this time it was difficult over the xmas period. we struggled. the confidence was there from everyone. The board showed great confidence in the team Kruger told me he was adamant we would finish the season strong during that period and he was right we got out of the poor form mostly as we never really suffered big injuries and we had more competition forster coming back was a big deal for us. he is one of the best keepers, no doubt it had a huge impact on the side and gave more people greater confidence. made a difference very proud of the team for the 2nd half of the season. we will try to continue that into the new season will be a huge challenge to improve on this season but we hope to do that. we hope to keep everyone at the club but we will see if we lose some players, we have to prepare for it. We understand where we are, I understand players have ambition to play in champions league very important that the club show ambition and signing extensions for players show that. we try to keep all our best players but you cant keep everyone my situation is very clear, I have 1 more year left in the next couple of days about the future and I will listen I am very happy here and will wait for what the board say about our future -------------- he is obviously happy here but doesn't want a repeat of losing our best players at the numbers we have. Also, made a point in saying IF we lose a player we need to be prepared to do business. Which we never really did so much last summer (VvD aside)

obvious that the Everton thing is to give Ron the best hand possible going into this week. surely

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?
Batman replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
when we got relegated we had a player who was bought by the european champions. I wonder how we would get on with 3/4 of a season of Steve McLaren.....some of our players would look very bad I reckon -

I think he is quite good. for the release clause he has. Right in our optimum price range (sadly) -

in what is described as the worst collection of strikers for their national side in their history
-
No one has forgotten who they are. Should have made it cheaper

I'm sure if it was, the save our stripes people will be all over it (and buying it at the same time)

Horrible kit. Worse than the all red things we had previously
