I think before we slate the board to much we should consider the following; That MP had set his heart on leaving. It was nearly impossible to keep him That his departure will have unsettled all of the players and the media love to develop a 'club in crisis' story That when Ricky Lambert had the chance to go to Liverpool it was very hard to tell him he could not go. If they had they would have a very demotivated player next season That AL and Shaw were always going to invite big money offers. They have not gone yet The board have made the right noises even if their PR has been terrible

Why was the deadline for renewing so early this year? Could be a master stroke. Get the renewals in and then sell all of the players.

How much will it cost to replace somebody who would have scored 12-15 goals next season?

Pochettino Joining Spurs (Official)

It was a difficult conversation with my 6 year old boy but I was able to teach him the importance of loyalty and how to conduct yourself to the people who sang your name for 18 months. -
Nope he will do exactly the same as MP if we do well. Lets go Moyes - he wont want to walk out on us when the first club comes knocking
-
The way that the family conducted themselves reflected incredibly well on them. A very sad story.

Not really. Trade agreements tend to be liberating, facilitating wealth creation and innovation. Capitalism has taken far more people out of poverty than socialism can ever dream of.

Tell the Greeks, the Spanish and the Italians about social justice now that the Euro has effectively waved any hope they had of using the exchange rates to generate recovery for them.

What is TTIP and what is the connection between independent thinking and left wing?
-
Maybe that is a fair point but Doddsy's spirit helped the team in the premier league for fifteen years.

The club better have a very good reason for axing two diehard Saints from the coaching set up. Otherwise it is very bad PR.

A good friend but a bad master.
-
What do better than Jason Dodd who lives and breathes Saints, played loyally for us for over a decade and might just might instil some form of loyalty into the youth players.
-
That would be why you are 'bad'!

Thank you all very very much. I managed to sort in the end by uploading to Youtube.

Having recorded a video on a Blackberry the file is too big to email. How can I take the recording off and put it on a computer?

We need a manager that has failed at a big club so is unlikely to be poached again. I would go for Moyes or maybe even the wally with the brolly if Derby do not go up.

Saints Official Chaplain Tweets that players are leaving.

Not sure you would describe that as 'cashing in'. -
I was merely trying to point out why in the European elections UKIP will do so well. I would argue that most UKIP voters are a lot warmer to the European idea than you would think.

As has been mentioned, it is positioned as an either or question when the real issue is far more complex. Most of us would vote to stay in the EU but as an institution it is broken and most of us want to fix it not abandon it. The power of Brussels is disproportionate to how most of us would want it to be split between Brussels and Westminster. The instincts of the EU are profoundly undemocratic. Some of the most powerful people in the world are making decisions in our name and we have never even heard of them. It is alarmingly corrupt; the fact that every year nobody will sign off the EU budget is brushed over annually. Most of think that somebody should be accountable. Many of us think that the principle of one size fits all cannot apply to 27 different countries and that is a fundamental flaw. Open door immigration. Most of us embrace the benefits of immigration but recognise that if you have significant variances in wealth across Europe you are at risk from sudden fluctuations in numbers entering the country. Economics say this will dilute wages and put pressure on local services and on communities. We were told 13000 Poles would arrive and a million did. It actually did wonders for our economy but lets have the right to manage the numbers. Those in the Eurozone and those out of the Eurozone cannot be governed in the same context. We think this needs to be addressed or there will be major problems in the next few decades. Lots of us want it to be an economic project not a political one and please do not tell us that we need to be in the EU or we will loose three million jobs. There is a surplus trade deficit with the EU so effectively they need us more than we need them. Yes of course we need each other. So just because I will probably vote for UKIP don't call me a racist or a fruit cake. Without them I am disenfranchised. Lets fix Europe not walk out of it.

No I appreciate that with Adam but he will probably have the opportunity of champions league football next season and it will be quite a pull. Hopefully the new board will enthuse those with generous offers to give it a go with us.

Thank you to FF for running the gauntlet of snipes and snide remarks to provide insight on the new people running the club. Your feedback is very encouraging and I for one would trust your opinion. As an aside I would also think it is very unlikely that we will hold onto our stars. Very sad I know but that has been the way ever since I have followed Saints. If Arsenal cannot hold on to Van Persie then how can we expect to keep on to Lallana?

I always try to avoid confrontation and head straight to the spare room. Its a home from home now.
