There was a chaplain on 5Live this morning, he said he was happy to deal with people of all faiths. Said he would be happy to put patients in contact with a humanist. Must admit I don't understand the intricacies of all of this. As far as I can tell, a chaplain can be of any religion.
Maybe, just maybe, he'd have been better off doing the media rounds before we went into administration? That way there's a chance he could have attracted a buyer before things went totally tits up. But instead he/the club just seem to have sat on their hands and pretended it wasn't happening.
They do it all the time. They aren't loaning these players out to get their wages off the books (as we've done this season), they are loaning out their young players to gain experience.
While that Liddle article is a bit annoying, and ****ed me off when I read it, it should be remembered that it's his role to be 'controversial'. Getting upset over what he's written, complaining etc is simply justifying his existence.
