Presumably by being able to play on the international weekends, that means less midweek games? I suppose the midweeks get occupied by the JPT etc.

Did you even read the post before you went off on one replying to it? You're making yourself look rather stupid lately.

Mike Jones - Saturday's ref to exagerate pitch invasion?
Scummer replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
And then there was another pitch invasion and the ref decided he'd had enough and blew up early. -

Yeah I agree. -
Yes. And if I remember correctly, it was even the new board who brought the dodgy payments to the attention of the FA.

So is the scoreboard clock wrong? As I've often seen the added time board held up when there's only 88 or 89 minutes showing on the screen. I don't think there's any official rule covering when it should be held up. -

The board often gets held up before 90 minutes are up. -

He'd definitely ended the match well before the pitch invasion. Possibly about a minute before. Saw him shaking hands with Burnley players within a few seconds of the foul on Wotton. -
They were in league 2 when he joined them, it's been quite a lengthy redemption. Well done to him though. Looks like Swansea will miss out of the playoffs this year.

Are Coldplay going to be there?

How old are your kids? I'd have thought the largest aquarium in Europe would be quite an attraction, as would the submarine.

Why didint the fans save us from administration?
Scummer replied to Frank's cousin's topic in The Saints
Maybe another way of putting it would be that fans didn't trust Lowe to use their money wisely. -
Cherbourg might be a better bet. This place is right next to the ferry port: http://www.ville-cherbourg.fr/uk/seaside/la_cite_de_la_mer/la_cite_de_la_mer_cherbou/la_cite_de_la_mer/default.asp

I think it might be the bookkeeping company I found, Ross Brooke Chartered Accountants: http://www.ross-brooke.co.uk/about/ourservices_startup.html They do business startups.

There's a sandwich shop at that address. And a bookkeeping company.

What if the people sell the carpets, but then leave the money they got for them on the kitchen worktop? You haven't actually lost out.

Derry, I'd suggest that you keep information like this under your hat, or leave it to other people to reveal. We've seen far too many well meaning people fall into the trap of leaking information to this site over the past couple of years. You're opening yourself up to abuse from certain people on here.

Yeah it is, see the 'what are people buying' thread.

I thought items 2 and 3 were the same thing?

If they only get a number of pence in the pound, it'll be because the club has ceased to exist. It's a football league requirement that all football creditors are paid in full.

what are potential buyers being asked to buy?
Scummer replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
Partially true, but I don't think the deal was quite as good as that for City. You are right about the original building costs, but apparently City paid £35M to convert the stadium into a football ground. So that's £35M for an asset they don't even own. They then have a 250 year lease from the council, so I'd assume they are paying some rent as well (maybe not as they paid for the redevelopment work). -

Manchester City don't own their ground (the council do), doesn't seem to have prevented people buying them. -
All apart from the last one.

You can't blame the fans for not chucking money into buckets if they don't know where that money is going to go. I apply the same logic when that rough looking bird comes round with a collection tub in the Chapel Arms.

Surely if Southampton FC went bust, there would be no reason for any new club to not be called Southampton FC?
