I would imagine that they've got rid of any casual staff they had. They are now stuck with a bunch of people who they have to pay, but haven't really got any work for them to do. Little point in making them redundant, as they will be needed again in a few weeks. Therefore you bring their hours down to a minimum, which seems to be what they have done.

I'm not disagreeing with that, but there's plenty of people with agendas on here who haven't been banned. Just looked through his most recent posts, and can't see anything to warrant a ban. I'm wondering if some posts have been deleted or something?

These people saying it would be easy to redevelop the site would also do well to remember the expensive archeological dig that had to be carried out before we could build the stadium. It's built directly upon the original site of Hamwic (sp?), and it's all still there, a few feet underground. We had to put in special foundations which don't go very far down. Any future developer would have to factor the cost of all this in. I think blocks of flats would be a total no-go.
