Dusan Tadic - DONE DEAL, official and everything
GarrettIvo replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
He's a badge kisser too! Sign him up now! -
Yes. Ours are certainly. This board especially is largely populated by a bunch of utter ****ing helmets. Not sure why I bother reading it every day. Players may go, or stay, or come, or not, and not one of the negative, board hating, sky falling on our heads mob of whingers here will have any control over it. Nor will they be happy with ANY outcome. The fact is KL owns the club so she signs the cheques. If she doesn't want to **** her money away on a mong-board forum pipe dream that's fine by me. If we end up back in the Championship next May( HINT: we won't) then so be it.
-
J-Rod has already tweeted that he loves the kit. Sounds promising to me.
-
Oh sh!t it's an asset stripe!! Class kit. I'll be sporting one on the streets of Perth by August hopefully.
-
Both players have been front and centre in today's training vision, so I wouldn't get carried away with their "imminent departures" just yet.
-
There's a picture of the ad on Twitter. Let me say I am underwhelmed.

Lallana completes move to LFC for a fee of around £25m
GarrettIvo replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I think this is mostly true, except for I think Brendon Rogers is a class manager and they're unlikely to turf him anytime soon. Pool have plenty of time to get some defensive reinforcements but the added pressures of CL will surely be a problem. -
He's still wearing our watch the pr*ck! Meh. We knew it was coming. More than anything I am relieved the uncertainty is done and we can move on. More peeved at this one than Shaw and Lambert, but he's entitled to look out for himself. Let's just move on. And yes we may have another one or two out the door, but whatever. August 16 won't get here any faster either way.
-
Well the OS now has Morgan and Gaston in replace of Lallana and Shaw. So I guess maybe hopefully they at least are staying.
-
FUnny his Twitter bio went from Saints, to MUFC, to now nothing. Maybe they are loaning him back for a year! #obviouslynot Whatever life and club go on. No need for all the emotion I reckon. Part of the corruption of world football.
-
Changed his twitter now. Sigh.

will we see Suarez in our first match? (Answer: No.)
GarrettIvo replied to offix's topic in The Saints
Yeah but they also refuse to entertain any discussion about Suarez leaving this summer so they've got a pretty good seige mentality going on over there. -
More gold from Redcafe, this time care of Trizzy. "Personally I wouldn't pay a cent more than the 27m.. its way over priced as it is and its not about the money its about not given in to a **** club." Seriously this **** is giving me something interesting to do while at work. To be fair though a few people on their forum called this particular poster out for being a moron.
-
I'd like to think we'd be comfortably ahead of this, but I tend to agree with the general principle.
-
The good folks over at RedCafe aren't to thrilled about this. Here's my favourite piece of logic from their thread. "And then the national team complain that the league has too many foreigners and our youngsters don't get time to develop. Well maybe if clubs like Southampton didnt go round ripping off the bigger clubs for potential talent these youngsters could improve. Abit hypocritical but let's be honest Shaw had more chance of developing into a class left back at United rather than spending extra years at Southampton."
-
Great as always, except for irrational hatred of Australia. But who am I to argue.
-
Gerrard 50% at fault for the goal. Hart 50%. He DODGED it!! Sad thing is now they need to get a ludicrous result against Costa Rica, so Hodgson will stick with the "proven" players instead of making changes. And the veterans will "deserve" to finish their World Cup careers on the park. Boys club.
-
I only watch England to see if Saints players will get on the park. But I can't see a position where you would say they've been any good. Sterling has offered a little but aside from that. Utter pants everywhere you look.
-
Other clubs views on whats happening at saints?
GarrettIvo replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
If I was them I'd be looking at the Dutch national team defence and what Van Gaal is or isn't doing about it, cause it's pretty average. Given who Manure have in their back four I'd be more concerned about that. -
To be honest I'm not going too hung up on topping last season's success. Although a rise into the top 6 would be golden, back to back top 10 finishes would do me just fine. Especially if you throw in a solid run in one of the Cups. But I am very excited.
-
Don't mind that at all. Throw the monochrome badge on it, and the sponsor logo. Kind of suit their style too, given they seem to make a lot of classy looking black gadgets.
-
Just hoping you see someone running round in that next year huh? No thanks.
-
This again and again and again. Good God this place is full of mouth breathers. We could hope to have the pedigree of Leverkusen. Unbelievable the morons here. What else would you like? Maybe we should face a combined Real, Barca, Bayern, Inter side as befitting our worldly status? Clowns.
-
Nah not really. No more than I care about what any other coach is saying or the language they choose to say it in. He's gone. Moved on.
-
Call me naive but I'm not overly fussed about any of this anymore. The fact is the club has the whip hand. Transfer request aside, he's under a long-term contract like everybody else. If he wants to go we'll make sure they pay top dollar for him. And if they don't he stays. I doubt he'll sulk if that turns out to be the case. He's a professional.
