If Bolasie has gone for £28m roughly, then Liverpool have mugged us off. We should have held out for £40m minimum, or at least have kept him until deadline day, to get just £34m sounds awful.

Plot twist, you are Jack Schitt. Tbf, if Jack Schitt really is full of sh*t, why does he go to such lengths and spend a lot of time writing all that cr*p out?!?!

Cheating is acting dishonestly to gain an advantage... They rightly got a red card and justice prevailed. Firstly, had one of our players done the same thing, no one would have argued against the decision, it is football. For example, if I was in Watson's situation I too would have done the same if I was getting outpaced like that, it is taking one for the team. Secondly, it was our fault we could not capitalise on the extra man advantage we had.

I think our biggest biggest complaint with Poch was his lack of plan B. Also the team that finished 8th was no way a better squad, our back ups were Jos, Danny Fox and Gazzaniga ffs, in fairness he did well in getting us 8th that year. Maybe Puel's plan B was to put PEH on, but tbf I doubt this myself.

We will only keep players if we pay the money. No two ways about it. If we offered Mane 130k a week he would have stayed I reckon, and so too Wanyama etc, and probs Morgan.

Plus a Clyne assist to Coutinho for Liverpools third.

Anything better than a 2-0 defeat is a bonus for me, even a 1-0 loss.
-
Cork on the bench too, and puncheon.

Beating Liverpool 4-1 away from home!!! Our second goal from Hesketh was beautiful. Ings is playing for Liverpool too, he scored their only goal.

'Fat Kat, Wreck it Ralph and Les' juust pocket it lool. My theory is the money is saved in the off chance we have an awful season, ie finish between 14th and 17th. My only worry is if we get relegated we are *****ed. It can't be wages, we are using TV money for that I thought. As for our debt, surely we can't have much left or any now?

Read my post again, said first home game
-
Since promotion first home game: Saints 0-2 Wigan (who got relegated that year) Saints 1-1 Sunderland (where Giaccherini who is 5ft 3 i think scored a header against us) Saints 0-0 WBA (awful game, worse than yesterday for me) Saints 0-3 Everton Saints 1-1 Watford Point being, we are always shi*e first home game.

I'm fairly happy that some of the players have taken this result like a defeat, hopefully helps us to improve and move on. Jeremy Pied said 'not a good result today at home', and rightly so if I am honest. BUT it's about how we bounce back and on another day Long may have scored a header, not had an air shot or we may have scored that first chance in the first few minutes. As for Watford, think away from home they will be physical tw*ts, but I don't think they have enough firepower in them to really get many points, I reckon a 15/16th place for them.

The original Mane thread was golden, started from toe_punt I think. This one may have the makings of it
-
I do think Puel will switch it up this game, 442 diamond is probably made for weaker teams at home (failed against Watford though haha) I'm gonna guess we will go with a tried and tested 4231.

Anyone mention how much these twa*s timewasted. Absolutely disgraceful, did it from the first half.

Haven't had 15+ since Jay Rod in 2013/14 and Lambert 2012/13

My ratings from the Itchen North Forster: 8 because he didn't have much to do and did well to save Yoshidas co*k up. Cedric- 4.5, no fitness, his passing was completely off to me, didn't bomb up and down, maybe fitness not sure- not the best. Yoshida- 6, defended okay, won a few headers, but shocking backpass could have ended the game for us VVD- 7, defended well, bombed forward a few times, nothing amazing, but did the job well Targett- 6.5, have to say was fairly impressed with him at times, got on the wrong side of Amrabat sometimes but was good attacking. Romeu- 4.5, lost Capoue for the goal, and not to forget he was overpowered a couple of times, not his best game unfortunately. JWP- 5, I still hope he will come good but added nothing today Davis- 6, Stevo same as usual, does a job. Tadic- 7.5 thought he was great at times, lost in first twenty minutes but eventually had a good game, his dribbling in first half was beautiful. Long- 7, finishing as usual pretty poor, inc the air shot haha. But did really well in getting their man sent off Redmond- 7.5, good goal and dribbling but did look lost up front in the first half. Recovered well in second half, and was actually focal point towards the end PEH- 8 and my MOTM despite not starting! I mean blimey, this guy just oozes class. Pied- 7 he was on the right side attacking a lot, some decent crosses, some okay ones too, overall wasn't bad tho Austin- 6, not enough time, think he only had one header but kept quiet by a good Watford defence. Overall- 442 diamond just doesn't work with our players, a point in the end, should've had all three, and this is the PL, full of surprises. A shame we didn't win 1/2-0 though, would've been nice to top the table

Timewasting *****eads.
-
Have we ever played a team who has timewasted since the first half?
-
In the stadium now, our pitch looks an beautiful keep the faith! I'm happy to see JWP play too, he is our poster boy but I want him to come good! Strong bench for Puel if things don't go to plan. COYS!!

Athletico and Dortmund are in leagues where they are really in no danger of relegation, and they will never get relegated. With us, we are as close to the CL as we are to getting relegated, the PL is very competitive. I don't mind our approach with things if the scouting is right however, just that if in one season it goes horribly horribly wrong. Aston Villa finished 6 three seasons in a row 8 years ago, and now where are they. They're past 5 seasons have been dire and I worry something like that can never happen to us.
-
It is what we expected though? 442 Diamond then? Forster Cedric VVD Yoshida Targett Romeu Davis JWP Tadic Redmond Long That left side is pretty weak admittedly, hopefully Targett steps up.
-
Louis Nani. But then he is really well known and his age doesn't fit with our type of signings.
-
Key battle in our relegation fight But seriously, you wouldn't want them to always show the Top 6 right? It is bad enough as it is in that regard. It is the Premier League, not the Top 6 + the rest.
