Yeah do agree with that, if we had played a City side who didn't have a CL semifinal, and if Kane finished his chance before half time at WHL, rather than the 6 pts we got I reckon we would have got 0/1, and no Europa League.

tbf i also do wonder what we do with our profits, as TV money is clearly used for contract improvements, my bet is that if we do have an off season, say we finish 15th in one season, we could use the profits racked up in previous years to raise our position again? And if we do finish 15th, then surely no one would want our players too anyway.

Maybe, but I would much rather have 2000 of their fans paying £30 (so £60k and they have less fans), instead of what will happen which is 3000 of them at £20 (which is again £60k but means more fans for the away side) We would've made the same I reckon anyway if Virgin hadn't subsidised for the AWAY fans. I think we should avoid Serie A, Gaston nor Osvaldo has worked out for us. He'll be a Giaccherini No. 2 IMO. You could add Cuadrado, and probs more I can't be bothered to think of. I believe Christian Tello favours a move to Fiorentina too, so may have to rule him out too.
