If it was not a homosexual relationship, I cannot at all see what Fox is getting out of all this. I never thought of Fox as gay I must admit, but then, I never thought Rock Hudson was.

A very good football player but a rubbish person I am afraid.
-
He is still on bail after all.

They have also got that ginger chap Crainie, who WGS brought to SMS, playing for them at left back. He is even in the Scotland Squad.

I sent an e-mail to Chris Hayler, Marketing Manager, a short while ago about this. There seems a particular problem when the video on the big screen is on, rather than the pitch side announcer. The half time scores are quite clear too. I suggested a pilot in the Chapel whereby the speakers are moved about 12 feet under the canopy in order to "trap" the sound within the seating area. (Similar to those at Plymouth Argyle) He rang me and explained that the club are aware and replacement of the speakers and the screens are on the to do list , but priority is to be given to the ticketing system as this is revenue earning. He felt that should they try my suggestion and it was successful, everyone would want the speakers moved and this would be expensive at this time.

I can remember Wigley taking off Anders Svenson at Craven Cottage when he was playing out of his skin. This gave rise to a chorus of "you don't know what your doing" from our travelling fans and by then, the end was near for him at SMS.

Inclined to agree with thoughts, but increased inome and reduced costs from improved ticketing will lead to more revenue and thus better players. I believe the guide on the Stadium Tour told me once, that there can only be instant replays when Sky are at SMS in full, as they are the only ones who have the appropriate video equipment.

The Screens are on the list to be replaced as are the speakers around the ground, but the new man is giving priority to the ticketing situation, as this is a main revenue earner.

Agree, he has been superb this season. What a difference when fully fit.
-
Rickie MOM because of his thinking, passing, first touch and the way he took those 2 penalties. Richardson close 2nd and my, he has stepped up to the plate this season. Great to see Lee Holmes come on to put over some excellent crosses and a very good goal. He was thrilled and very humble in his post match interview on R.Solent

Sky also said that on Sunday too which annoyed me.

No doubt the mistakes cost us the game but the commentary indicated there were a lot of misplaced passes with Fox, Guly and Connolly the main culprits. Dave Merrington indicated that we needed to get around the defence and we could not do this due to lack of pace until De Ridder came on. I think he deserves a start v Watford. NA sent out a message that nobody's place is guaranteed with the Dean Hammond switch for Schneiderlin and judging by the commentary, I would think that Fox's place is u nder scrutiny too.

Some of the groounds who share with Rugby Teams are not too clever but nothing like they used to be in winter. at the Dell circa 1959.

Stayed at the Rock Hotel in April 2010. Great Restaurant there. Also spotted a Liebherr Crane at the Boating Lake in Quinta do Lago on the Algarve earlier in the month.

I saw West Ham v Cardiff on Sky earlier in the season and they were poor. Unless they have improved, we should win.

Saint_John, do you know when the HMRC appeal against the Football Creditors Rule is due to be heard.?I thought this may have been in the Autumn.
-
I was thinking more about size. Doble is similar to Barney in build.
-
But are any of these big as in the Lambert mould?
-
Agree with the others that Dean Hammond has really played well this season. NA indicates that he works very hard in training which just goes to show, if you push yourself in this game , it brings rewards. It is great that we do not have any lazy bast..ds in the squad now.

If the winding up order has been sorted this may only be a short term affair. I notice that West Register Number 2 Limited, A wholly owned subsidiary of RBS, have taken 4, 2nd Legal Charges on some of the Company's land stock, the day before the WO was issued. The former was created to buy commercial property from RBS from Companies that were in distress, so they can sell when markets get better. I guess they wish to maximise the equity they may have in the properties, if indeed there is any as I cannot really see that they would wish to pay off the 1st Mortgagees debt.

Alan Pardew had some very good things to say about him whilst waiting for a work permit before we signed him. He was the right player at the right time, likeable and good luck to him.
-
That was a superb save. He got down quick and held the ball to his body despite the exteremely wet conditions. Not many keepers would have held onto it like Kelvin did on Sunday.
-
I expect Mitchell is under a little stress at present, as notice that a Winding Up Order for his Company Seven Developments Ltd, has been gazetted on 16th August.

No body had a poor game yesterday, absolutely fantastic. The build up to the goals was magnificent. Well done to all.

THanks Saint_John for updates on the Court Cases. I was beginning to wonder where we were with these although they seem to go on for an awfully long time. No wonder all the lawyers fees are so much.
