  1. Just carried out a Company Search on Portsmouth Football Club (2010) Ltd. Portpin Ltd still have a Fixed and Floating Charge over Fratton Park and all the assets. The Share Capital is now £1m and all the shares are owned by Sports Holdings (Asia) Ltd and guess who are the Directors of the latter Company...why?....the Chanrai's of course.
  2. Maynard would be a good signing. He has a bit of height, very pacey and scores goals. If we signed McGoldrick we would be going backwards. Tyson looked to have all the attributes a few years ago but to me, he seems to have stood still and I have not been impressed in the few times I have seen him. Likewise his manager as he did not start very often last season. I would go along with Super Saint's allocation.
  3. I do not know why this keeps rearing its head quite regularly now. When Rupes was in charge, he said that he would need 25K Season Tickets sold over a 5 year period to justify a business case. This was one of the things he did get right. NC is a business man too, so he will probably take a similar view. We never had anywhere near that number of ST when we were in the Premiership, even when we were 5th at Christmas and got to the FA Cup Final. Let us close this thread now and get back to reality.
  4. Who on earth would wish to live in Burnley when the alternative choice would be the south coast. He did not play in the the under21 qualifiers last week and there was not much talent there on show, over the three matches.
  5. It is great to know our Chairman and CEO is no "pushover".
  6. We tried that when Uncle George was in charge and look where it took us.
  7. Agree entirely and what a supportive initiative this is to give something to the memory of Markus. Without him, we would not have a club perhaps to support and to spend our hard earned cash in such pleasures.
  8. Now we know though why Baloo still has a charge registered on the Land Registry, against the Club.
  9. Was a good keeper as you would expect in the Premiership, but not great. He would regularly flap at crosses and I was relieved when Niemi came in and took his place. Now he was a great keeper.
  10. Stanley Baker, Ivor Emannuel and Micheal Caine do not appear.
  11. But that was the only one he ever scored for us was it not?
  12. Aplogies my previous reply was Gemmels and I was trying to highlight the quote. However he is not far adrift in his comment as the accounts for DMWSL 613 Ltd show Intangible and Tangible assets of £17.5m with the Loan from Markus or his company at £25M. The diffeence is probably down to player purchase and providing an element of working capital.
  13. As far as wiping out all the debt, it was of course replaced with new debt through loan notes, which still stand and if taken at the word of the chairman, will ultimately be exchanged for equity or wiped out. I read the accounts (Could be wrong) as the cost to buy the club and continuing trading losses amounts to around 24 million. Which if you paid 13 million or so up front, spent a big wedge on players and then paid them big wages, would be about right..... So i guess the question is, are we worth more than 24 million here and now. If pompey really were sold for 15, then you would have to say a big fat yes.
  14. A search on Portsmouth Football Club (2010)Ltd reveals that the 2 Chanrais & Kushir left the board on 6th June and replaced by Chris Akers, Vladimir Antonov & Roman Dubov. The current shareholders are not listed nor is Convers Initiatives charge mentioned in post 39759. Probably too early for this to be documented on the Companies Register. Portpin's Charge is still shown at present. It may be worth looking again in one month's time to see what the changes are.
  15. I expect the Russians as individuals own Portsmouth Football club now as shareholders as you cannot complete a mortgage over your own property. I expect to the encumberance listed by Baloo is probably no longer valid since the takeover and probably it is too early to show the lifting on the Land Register. I also seem to recall that the Football Stadium and the Car Park were owned by different individuals and it was Gaydamak who owned the car park. This is probably the reason why Gaydamak's name does not appear as the Mortgage by CSI is only on the Stadium.
  16. I think it was because they were not in the first team squad whereas Pulis & co were.
  17. similar thought about Jon Parkin too.
  18. Where is Saint_John with all the High Court news?
  19. Tax Relief on private pensions was not scrapped by Gordon Brown, it was the dividend reclaim tax on the investments contained therein. Tax relief on pension contributions for both basic rate and higher rate tax payers was and still is, reclaimable.
  20. It does not matter if he was playing at international level or sunday league, a football brain is making the correct decisions at the right time. You cannot, even with the most biased opinion in the whole wide world, claim Theo make the correct decisions on Saturday night. That is one of the reasons why he was taken off and another why England did not win the game.
  21. Walcott ran down blind alleys last night. He did not trust himself to be able to push the ball around the full back and then get down to the by-line to cross back. Chamberlain has done this so many times for Saints. IMO Chambo has got a better football brain than Theo had at his age and will become a great player. It seems that Dalglish, Fergie and Wenger think so too, if they desire to pay all that reported money for him.
  22. I asked the same question on another thread but did not get a response. Is there anyone out there who lives nearby that an tell those of us that live a long way from Southampton?
  23. Jack Cork would be a great addition to the squad. He is young but experienced in the Championship. He knows the club and we know what he can do.I would have thought too, that like Fonte, he can see outside the box and the potential there is at SMS. Besides, as a southerner, I am sure he would rather be down here in the sun than stay at the likes of Burnley in the rain. I do not think he will ever get into the Chelsea side whilst Abromovich is spending.
  24. Must agree with everybody here- our set pieces are so much better now. I still think somebody could learn from MLT regarding corners.
  25. Does anybody know the latest on the Training ground? Has the improvements started yet. The last I heard from this board was that PP had been agreed and we had a visual tour but that was ages ago.
