I still think we need a big CF to cover for Rickie of the Steve Howard Ilk who would be happy to sit on bench at times, a strong tackling midfielder and a pacey winger like Antonio.
-
We huffed and puffed. County put players behind the ball and we did not seem to have the pace today to get down to the by line to cross the ball back. Could never see us scoring and with nil on target, I am not surprised.
-
What a stupid thing to say.
-
That will do nicely for me too.

What news to wake up to as I get my early dose of Saints. Fantastic and well done to Nicola, Nigel and Adam.
-
The press reports on his two games for the Glovers were very favourable as were the fans comments. Would not suprise me if he eventually signed for them.
-
Antonio would give us that extra pace that we need against some of these teams. He is young and will only improve. I watched the Johnsons Paint Final Video over Christmas and he was superb in that.
-
I heard it was either him or the Saintettes again.
-
Rickie did well today laying on passes for the others and never gets pushed off the ball. GHuly did well and Chamberlains skills are a joy to watch, but Lallana was simply out of this world especially in the seconed half as we attacked the Chapel End. There was one moment when he turned the full back inside out and just ghosted past him from a tight position. Amazing.
-
He will do ok at Huish Partk as he always gives his best and they need his type at the moment.

Chaplow - signed a 2 and a half year deal - OFFICIAL

Top Nuts. Hooray! -
We shall have to watch that pace and footballing skills of Jake Thomson on the wing though.
-
He did miss a few on Tuesday but his lay off play was excellent. I have just watched the highlights on BBC Sport website, he assisted Lallana when he hit the bar, Oxo goal and Chaplow 's in second half. Is improving all the time as he gets used to this league.
-
And Delgado on the big screen at St Mary's.
-
Or anything else for that matter.
-
Goodness no. We had him before. He only comes up to Lamberts waist and will not be suited to this league at all.
-
I agree we have all done stupid things but not many of us would deem to hit somebody with a bottle in our hand. Only idiots do that.
-
All the best to him. He was always very helpful and replied to e-mails by return.
-
We need a big lump like Rickie in this league. His knock downs and passing are excellent and he will come good this year. We do not want to waste money on any midgets as we have enough of them already at the club. I cannot think of anybody else, of Rickie's make up and ability, that we could get to this club.
-
There is something wrong when we consistantly get more possession, more corners and more shots yet we lose. Adkins realises that we do not seem to score from corners very often but these continual statistics are so disappointing.
-
Absolutely.Well said that man.
-
Agree entirely.
-
He was good last time around and the same this time. A welcome signing

The Premier League want to see regular Management Accounts. We do not know if these are monthly or quarterly, but whatever they are I bet their bankers would not rely on them. Furthermore, I feel sure there are many Bankers and Accountants on this site, who have seen so many Management Accounts where "actuals" fall well short of "budget". In fact, in my experience it was the norm. So I still cannot se the Skates getting out of this one unless, of course, somebody with money is prepared to commit financial suicide and take them over with a large injection of cash.
