  1. All that is, of course, provided that Portpin and Chainrai are actually one and the same The Directors and the Company are separate legal entities:- Salaman v Salaman 1896
  2. The matches were televised and I was wondering, only the other day, where everybody was since.Thank you for a well researched and interesting article.
  3. Agree with all that. He looks a lot slimmer too and has outpaced a number of defenders this season-see Goal of the Month on Saints Player
  4. The Clubs probably want too much money for them and the players want too much in wages. They have been watching Sky Sorts News too much.
  5. A real classy player so this is very good news. The better pitches and players in the Championship will suit his game too.
  6. I can remember all of us on SF signing a petition at the request of the Brighton Fans, when they were to appeal about the lack of PP on their new ground a few years ago. Its not the club or the fans that I dislike but their Skeletal faced Manager whose eyes are too close together and who speaks from the back of his throat.I did not notice this until he was ungracious to our Team, after his defeat at the Withdean last season.

    Not Likely!
  8. Goodness me, they will want the Embassy and Empress of India to be transferred from Poole Quay next.
  9. They may not have links with bailiffs but they have with Credit Agencies who do.Contacting the Utility Companies by e-mail via their websites, at least confirms what the situation is and you have something in writing. I always find that they do reply even though it may take 48 hours. e
  10. Not only can Rickie score goals, his work off the ball, layoffs and passing are so good. This seems to get overlooked by the few. We acknowledge he is not the quickest, but he certainly ran through the defenders last night for his two goals.
  11. We were so classy. To see balls put through for the strikers to run onto, was only something we dreamed about a couple of seasons ago. Rickie's chest control before one of his goals and Morgans chip were superb.
  12. But all they do is to pick up information from this site and all the others that talk about it.
  13. Seems to have loads of pace which we need up front now.
  14. Unfortunately, Chappers let himself and his team mates down on this occasion. We hope he will learn from this whilst, sitting in the stand over the next 3 games.
  15. His post match Barnsley interview was enthusiasm personified and he looks the part too. Remember the days of Dave Jones and Burley who made us all feel depressed even when we won.

    Beattie

He was great for us in his time here, but that was then and this is now. You cannot go back.
  17. Alps is right: another CB and Striker in Rickie mould will make us top notch!
  18. Harding was one of my favourites last year, but I did not think he got forward very much V Leeds. May be the difference in class with this league and League 1. Early days though but NA has obviously wanted a proven Premiership player without doubt and this is why a versatile LB has been bought.
  19. Of course we want rid, but he is still only getting third division wages and no win bonus. He is not Ben Haim.
  20. A good story. Much better than the morons behaviour in our large cities over the last few days.
  21. Lowe would not pay £6M for Wee GS to buy Steed Malbranque and Louis Saha. Gordon left, we went down and eventually into the third division. That is the Legacy he left us.
  22. A very good player and I am disappointed I shall not see him on the wing for us this season. At least another year would have done him good. Will they never learn? Why would he want to play in front of a couple of hundred fans and a dog each week if not for the cash? First he has to dislodge Walcott, who also picks up a fair share of injuries and who cannot get in the team on a regular basis in any case. A great deal done by NC. Hey, perhaps we can get Theo back for a song! After all, he only went to the Arse to model himself on Thierry Henry and he has long gone. I wonder what his Dad thinks about it all now?
  23. I cannot understand why Dave Jones said on "Goals on Sunday," that he fancied the Skates as black horses for promotion. With that sort of nonsense no wonder he nearly took us down. It was interesting though, to hear Warnock say that it must be wonderful to manage a club like Southampton.
  24. I think this was tactics to draw out Leeds defence to him, in order to open them up more and it worked!
  25. Her and her husband have recently bought "The Greyhound" at Sydling St Nicholas near Dorchester. This is a Pub with Restaurant and letting cottages. She has already been undertaking local engagements so we may see her back at SMS now she is nearer than Chelsea.
