There were some dark days though at the end of the RL and through the Wilde & Crouch era's. NC continually bangs on about stability and we have this at the club now. Long may it continue.

Rupes indicated we would have to sell 25K each year over 5 years for this to be realistic and viable and I would be inclined to agree.

An instalment plan to overcome the cheats, could be instigated by releasing the Tickets in batches up to the end of the 6th month period. This would ensure the dirtect debits are paid to cover and when all cash has been paid, releasing the rest on block. Simple.

Rupes estimated that we would need to sell 25K Season Tickets each year over 5 years to prove viability for stadium expansion when we were in the Premiership. I do not think we an get anywhere near that so talk of increasing capacity is a pipe dream I am afraid.

Fortunate to have seen the Busby Babes play at Chelsea and Tottenham when I was still at school, but my memories were those great goals by Bobbie over his playing career. Absolutely fabulous.

He was also Bournemouth's mascot for some years and used to come out and run around the pitch ala Sammy Saint does for us. He also belonged to Bournemouth Spartans who swan on Christmas day and I believe he was a member of Poole Wheelers Cycling Club.

Fonte, because he has been a regular, helped to keep all those clean sheets, in the League 1 Team of the year and scored goals. On top of that he is a classy CB.

The pitch was cutting up a couple of months ago and you could see large chuncks of sand underneath. Seems to have been ok for the last few games as the grass knits in. Probably why we did not win the award this time.
