  1. Kelvin is a must for us if we get in the premiership but we must look further afield, as we did when we signed Tim Flowers who had to wait his chance. A young good goalkeeper would be ideal as cover for Kelvin for a year or two. Hennesey or Al Habsi would be good if their team gets relegated but I cannot see them wishing to play second fiddle, even for a short period.
  2. Yes I do really think that. Its called loyalty bonus.
  3. I think that is a little unrealistic Fishfingers, but certainly those of us that have renewed year in and year out during the dark times, should be rewarded within the pricing structure
  4. Thanks for the reports guys. We could hear you loud and clear on Solent via the Saints Player. The sound created seemed to be coming from more than 800!
  5. Nigel always does business privately and behind closed doors!
  6. Did'nt they win the Ted Bates trophy at the first game at SMS?
  7. During our first season in League 1, many of Adam's shots were powderpuffy. However I really think he has been working on that aspect of his game and his shooting power is so much stronger now. I would not wish to crticise though, as he is such a talented all round player.
  8. Pardew immediately recognised what we wanted and what we had been crying out for for years: a great big bloke at CH (Jahidi) and a similar one up front, Rickie. That set us on our way, Firstly though, Nicola for having the forsight and Markus for having the money.
  9. Such a classy player who seems to have so much room around him now that we are out of Div 1. He will excell in the Premiership as he is at the moment and well worth his regular place in the team .
  10. NA says on Saints Player that he will be very surprised if Adam is not on the Team Sheet.
  11. And that was under the stewardship of Mr Lampitt. Will the cuurent Head of Integrity at the FA seek to interview the former, I wonder?
  12. I expect that TB will now run out of cash and with no buyer, he will have to liquidate. Gaydamak and Baloo will do a deal between them to apply for change of use, as it will have been proven that nobody will buy to run a football club. Perhaps Tescos or Persimmon Homes will be the owner after all, Baloo and Gaydamak will be paid in full and they all lived happily ever after.
  13. A Mr Nicholas Ferguson aged 56 is the Director. Ring any bells?
  14. Now that really was a clever piece of literature and above all-it made me laugh. I would love to see a picture of a skates face trying to understand it all.
  15. I am grateful to Weston Saint for clearing up the abolition of Crown Preference under the 2003 Enterprise Act, as I was not aware of this. The preference for Tax, Vat, Nic's was after Fixed Charge security but before Floating Charge Security. I see that wages and Salaries still appear preferential as they were under the Isolvency Act 1986. In that case, if the Football Creditors Rule is abolished either by the Court or indeed Parliament, Players wages would still take preference ie after the Fixed Charge portion of Baloos Debenture, but before the Floating Charge portion.
  16. An MP from the Sports and Media Select Committee told Sky Sports News lunchtime that he wishes the unfair Football Creditors Rule to be brought before Parliament so it can be struck out. He did not mention the HMRC Appeal but perhaps he has heard some whispers?

Cannot recall any magnificent customer experience that these two members of middle management provided.
  18. I seem to recall when Pimply went into admin on the previous occasion, part of the conditions were that the Premier League or the Football league. were to receive monthly management accounts from the Club as a condition of the CVA and payment of the parachute payments. As they could not be possibly trading profitably each month with those level of salaries, how come the men in suits did not do anything about this before?
  19. Pimpy fans would have learned more by reading this site rather than attending a meeting. The only persons who have gained apppear to be the Administrators who must be on time and a half for evening meetings. PFC are still spending the cash.
  20. He can walk on water--remember he was the FA's Head of Integrity.
  21. But in Chinneys case the Debenture created a fixed charge on the pPperty AND a Floating Charge on the other assets eg Stock,Fixtures and Fittings, Debtors, Cash, Intellectual Property Rights both present & future. Therefore if the property is revalued it does not necesarily mean that he will be unsecured for the rest of the £17m debt. In saying all that though, there is probab ly not much else, after the property, with any value.
  22. One can only say good things about Graham Murty.
  23. Tony Husband said on South Today that the debts were £4k. How can a journalist not know about Baloos, Gaydamak, CVA and CSI's debts when they have been highlighted for him so many times on this site.
  24. He is not fat anymore, brilliant first touch, awareness and running off the ball. Congratulations Rickie.
  25. Very similar to the Pardew sacking with us. Probably been negotiating with Leeds behind the chairmans back.
