That was my very first game. My dad somehow took in a beer crate for me to stand on in the choco box. Great post by the op btw, brought back some great memories.

Just biting back and seeing how they like a bit of their own treatment!. -
James Ward-Prowse. Is he living up to potential?
Saint Billy replied to georgeweahscousin's topic in The Saints
Tbh not everyone thought he had potential in the first place. I personally feel that he is not pl quality. -

There's a few on here that make me froth and your one of them. I've also noticed something in common with them all which is a heavy post count normally used on attacking others that don't share their views rather than expressing anything original themselves. Just another bunch of small mans syndrome cyber warriors taking over the place and ruining it. -

You really are a piece of work aren't you Fry. You attack someone with an opposite opinion to yours but when they bite back you resort to infantile put downs. Just for your information, not everyone on hear accepts mediocrity, some of us do really want Saints to be replicating what a similar size club like Leicester are acheiving, some of us would love to see us doing a victory lap at Wembley holding up a cup and some of us would be made up to see us progress in a European cup competition. If you think losing at Bournemouth and scraping a draw at home to Sunderland is acceptable........fine, that's up to you, but if our manager and the board share your view god help us. -

Good effort lads, at least we didn't lose, let's look forward to doing better next game!!!............................., ofcourse these are sentiments purely expressed for Trouser's benefit . -

Well that should put the fear of god in em!!

God your getting tedious, nearly 40 thousand posts and you are still not offering anything new to debates apart from looking at someone's post history in an attempt to make them look stupid and yourself Mr fecking perfect.

When I said bung Harry, I meant the ball!

I tell you Ron, once you put on the helmet the Darth Vader look really works with the players.

Bompey start like this most games at home, it's all sbout whether or not we can ride it out.

He seems to spend half his time idling about with a strop on looking to blame everyone else.

Agree 100%. Have I missed something, why is Charlie not starting considering he was our answer to a lack of goals?. -

Great result, must win game as all games and we won it even if it was not pretty. A draw would have been so so but a win makes all the difference considering the other results around us. Well done boys lets keep the momentum going. -
But what your missing out is presumerably that it is not the end of the world if we lose or draw this game? So are you saying that our chances of getting into Europe might be better getting results against Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester, Man city, Spurs and clubs fighting to avoid relegation?.
-
Every game is a must win surely, why would you want anything else?.
-
3 nil to saints, this is so unlike me but I'm giving it a go. Btw, Stones has shed loads of potential and would have him in our side in a moment, not goong to happen though just like my prediction.

At what point would you walk out of a Saints game?

Just read about David De Gea losing out on a 66.7 mill contract when Man U and Real Madrid fecked up his move in the summer. Puts things into perspective for me. Good on you Liverpool fans, they still went, paid their money, supported their club, but most importantly made a point. I am getting more and more uncomfortable watching millionaires/billionaires kicking a ball about and paying top dollar to do so, I love my club and have done so for 50 years plus but gone are the days when the fan is the clubs most prized asset. -
Very shiite!, would do better to stay on his feet for 5 minutes. Another thing I've noticed about Mane is that the bloke never ever looks like he is enjoying life.
-
Harsh sending off, was a yellow but no more. Pelle was poor as was Mane, VVD solid, Yoshi did well and Long ran his legs off. I thought Classie and Cedric had good games. First half was a dire affair apart from our goal and second half was a bit of a nail biter despite the fact that their opportunities were few and far between. One great save from FF. A good result considering.
