I got slated on here for not being impressed with Caulker when we got him, " He is perfect cover the masses said, he has premiership experience, dont worry about him being in a relegation side, he's been picked by England you know". Absolute nonsense, he is the same as he always was which is less than average quality which basically sums up most of our signings in the summer.

The only way is to tighten the gun laws, but then the hicks, rednecks, mentally challenged, self made militia and religious cranks will come out of their shacks all guns blazing fighting against oppression and make the whole situation worse whilst the ordinary folk will arm themselves to the hilt to defend themselves.

One thing last night taught me is Saints are no way as good as some on here think they are.

Double meh for me

I suppose we will know the cut of saints jib in January!
-
Ah well, at least we can concentrate on trying not to concede sh*t loads of goals for the rest of the season

To be honest Alps post is more interesting and applicable than a lot of guff on here atm. I mean , Brendan Rogers has left Liverpool wtf!. If Mane does go in Jan which is being muted in the tabloids it could be a damaging blow to Saints. Although we are reasonably placed I dont think we have well and truly fired this season. We have been tough to break down away but we are average at best at home. The loss of someone like Mane would no doubt worsen our performances. So a valid point by Alps!

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Saint Billy replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
How about us all agreeing that in this modern day any atrocity be it religious based or not should be condemned and dealt with. For whats its worth, I'm not even sure Isis give one jot about their religious beliefs, I think they are now just hell bent on unleashing their evils on the Western society probably because the West has in their mind poked their nose where it is not wanted. Perhaps we should have left the likes of Assad, Saddam, Taliban etc to carry on wiping out their own people and threatening world peace. -

The problem with this ongoing terrorist situation is that it muddies the water as far as immigrants crossing borders is concerned. Can there be any guarantees that IS and other terrorists are not exploiting this situation?. -

You cannot negotiate with these people, I doubt if IS know themselves what they really want deep down. Jahadi John was a UK citizen benefitting from living in the UK so what was his beef?. I blame the likes of George Bush and Tony Blair for giving these people an excuse to go and kill innocent people. -
I thought he was really happy at saints!!, am I to understand that one should not believe what a player says?.

Big sam will have them organised and tight if nothing else. A difficult game to predict but we do seem to play better away from home lately, 0-0 or 1--1 for me.

Hope he improves is all I can add.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Bournemouth
Saint Billy replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
They were bound to come out pressing in the 2nd half, with a player like Mane in our side they would be susceptible to being caught on the break, but for some reason we did not offer any threat at all. A better side would have done us in the 2nd half, we became panicky all of a sudden, passes were going astray, Pelle could not do a thing right in total contrast to his first half, and our tackles were getting desperate and we ended up punting long balls in desperation. I don't know if this is a mental thing or some sort of gone wrong ploy by ronald but it needs to be addressed as we wont get away with it against better sides. Weirdly, we don't seem to do it away from home. -
How on earth are we so dire now, this is so poor after a great first half.
-
We're just really really ridiculously good looking

Blimey, I didn't realise how badly my cataracts had deteriorated. -
Great to see Gaston come on and do well, perhaps Ronald is seeing something in him now. We deserved the point and are becoming a tough nut to crack away from home.
-
I am now wondering if Chelsea were in fact really really poor against us a couple of weeks ago
-
Has Cedric gone off?
-
Hope he does not get tempted away, he seems to be a great motivator which is essential. As much as I like Ronalds management I cannot imagine him being very expressive in his moral boosting speeches, might be wrong but I suspect that is left to Sammy.

His chest down layoff for Davis was sublime, its not all about scoring goals.
