He is always contradicting himself on Talk Sport almost on a daily basis. If he loves the beautiful game so much why does he take so much joy in lambasting Arsenal everyday in the Daily Arsenal. I like Johnny Vaughn's treatment of him on a Saturday, obviously does not like Durham.

He would require time to fit in as he would be returning to a different cistern.

I moved away from Soton about 20 years ago but long before that I remember going to La Margaritas next to the Gaumont when it first opened. I remember it being full so they took me and my then mrs into a back room which was being used as a front room/lounge by an elderly couple with a big smelly dog, they spoke little english but were very friendly and they gave us a free drink. I used to love eating there, the place was always buzzing and the waiters were always laughing and joking, plus it introduced me to how a proper pizza should taste. A great place with a cracking atmosphere back then.

More confused than chuckling, but I do think people are outraged far to quickly these days. Question, are these guys actually supporting Evans or are they demonstrating against him, perhaps we should know the answer to this before we start throwing ourselves off Millbrook Towers.

Pirlo of Italy has been for many years playing for an underperforming Italian side but his performances have stood out head and shoulders above everyone else. In most cases Gerrard has performed as badly as the rest of his England team mates. Yes he is a tryer and yes he does score the odd scorcher and penalty but world class he is not. Just because he played in the 5-1win against Germany and was in the Liverpool CL winning side does not change anything for me, I remember more the many average performances for England, the crazy fouls and sending off's and his numerous stray passes. The guy has not overly shined in what has been a very crap England side.

Agree with that, I even suggested that on here and got hounded. I have never got the nations love in for Gerrard, all I ever see in my mind is him apologising for a poor England performance.

Toby and Bertrand need to be kept at all cost, lose those two and we are half the side we are atm.

I'd take Rhodes, a bit like Lambert in his prime and a good scoring record.

Definite penalty for Chelsea but hey ho that's footy. I thought we did well especially with a make shift back line although we did ride our luck in the last half hour. My main concern is that we cannot seem to roll over the so called bigger teams and we tend to play them with a fear factor.
