Be careful what you wish for Rickie, and in Adams case, dream for.

Saints gone second in table on gd to Man city following their loss at West Ham.
-
Can't say I'm too dissapointed, would prefer to wait for Long to come good which he will.

Blimey Trousers, do you keep some sort of log on age old threads that could be revitalised?
-
You are real examples of true football fans. Glad you had a great day!!

Weird side Stoke, no matter who's manager they always seem to play the same style. Cant stand them and I hope we stuff them but they are a hard side to break down.

For those who are serious about their history
Saint Billy replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Yes I thought you probably had. I have lived outside the area now for 20 years or so but amazed to see the business still going strong. Mick Channon and Brian O'Neil use to be regular customers purchasing in the main ammo for hunting, how times have changed. -

Out of interest and unrelated to above, my first job was working at Holt & Haskells in the early 70's and I have recently looked up Arthur Holt on google and what a sporting history he had. Saints player and Hants cricketer with the Pavilion named after him at the Rose Bowl. Being young at the time I never really thought about his achievements and he rarely spoke of them as well. He was a lovely guy along with Mr Haskell especially when you consider that I was sick in their office one xmas and they were complete gents about it. I met alot of sporting heroes whilst I was there, too numerous to mention, but what an experience for a kid and one I will never forget. Did you know them Duncan? -
Will a game abroad be classed as home or away?
-
Absolutely!! I totally agree. I hope whoever makes the final desicion kicks this purely money making idea into touch once and for all. This is no doubt instigated by the so called big clubs to enable them to spend even more ludicrous amounts on purchasing players and keeping them in the lifestyle they are now accustomed too. Football seriously needs a rocket up its a r s e before the disenchanted start to lose interest.

Thanks Saint Armstrong for that, really enjoy these behind the scenes vids. Sammy, what a star, if you can't keep motivated with him about you never will be, full credit to Ronald for getting him back on board. -
I would push to buy him in Jan!

Anyone else think we could be on the verge of something special?
Saint Billy replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
Talk Sport have been talking us up over the last fews which is good to hear but also makes me jittery. 5 games in, great start, but I am determined not to get carried away but will enjoy the ride. Great to see Ronald placing more importance on cup games as realistically this where we can win something.
