It was the same last season - he was constantly grabbing Pelle in the box - I should think Fonte would have had pointed it out to the ref (if Rooney can be in the referee's face every five minutes....)

Who the f**k's that?
-
Wanyama out of cup game and Watford now. Time/opportunity for Reed.

"Thwee, two, one.Go Go Go..."

Well "Steve " did say Saturday was his last game with Saints, so he is being replaced... I am sure we all await with baited breath...

Barry Gale is the answer.

Yes look at me. Look at me. My over-exaggerated gestures and facial expressions. Never has the advantage message been demonstrated with such flair....

According to ESPN his record reads 3 yellows and 1 red now.
-
I think that was his 4th and 5th yellows, which now counts as a red (therefore 1-match ban)?

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Bournemouth
markr27 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
As others have said, game of two halves - during the majority of the second 45 Bournemouth had little penetration - lots of huff and puff, but nothing really to blow the house down. It had shades of the Villa game last season, where Saints just sat back and went into cruise control for the 2nd half. Today Saints had one attack, and with a slightly better final ball it would have 3-0. Bournemouth need to beat the teams around them, and try to match those that finished in the bottom half last year to survive. With a fully fit squad, they are significantly better than Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle, and on a par at least with Watford and Norwich. It would seem that Murray and Ritchie need to score the majority of the goals needed to achieve this, which is a tough ask but by no means impossible. -
Only left Cedric out because of his eye - give it time to heal

It could end up being something like this perhaps? Stek Yoshida, Fonte Caulker Targett Romeu Ward Prowse Juanmi Ramirez Rodriguez Pelle** *Depends on his back playing twice in 4 days. **Who else is there that is fit?
-
Anyone think they have sacked him sooner (rather than later because of the Chelsea situation) in order to get first dibs on Klopp?

Yeovil Town. Went to Wembley to watch them get promotion to the Championship.... just under 2.5 years ago! Now look where it is in the football pyramid!
-
That said, I think it's Liverpool away the Sunday before, so sure to be held on the Wednesday night (28th)
-
Vam Dijk on the bench for Holland, who are a goal down in Turkey - thanks to dreadful defending or a dreadful offside call (only seen it the once)
-
Just been told Yannick Bolasie is set to join Spurs by a Facebook friend.... Do they need another wide player?

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 3-0 Norwich City

Have to agree about JWP - he seems a player that just won't fit properly in the puzzle before today - perhaps having the right partner with him will help? I thought Juanmi did OK in his little 10 minute cameo, but his chances of impressing are now slim with the lack of Europa. Finally, I hope the two guys that came up the steps to sit down 10 minutes in, and then made subsequent movements at 43:00 (down), 50:00 (up) and 86:00 (down) get to see the first goal tonight - the chap behind remarked was it really worth them coming! -
There was some chap in the Itchen as well today screaming out every five minutes - his intentions were to inspire the team, but no one around had any idea what he was shouting. Steven Davis had a good chuckle at his chant as he warmed up along the touchline as well.
-
...who then missed the goal as they were being escorted from the Itchen to the Northam!

Seems strange considering I am the "block 12" side of 13 rather than 14

Hello all, I have just received my Season Ticket through the post, and discovered that I now have to go through Turnstile C instead of B to enter the ground? Has anyone else had their entrance changed? Can the Club move the partitions easily? (Block 13 was right at the end of Turnstile B's concourse)

Let's hope Les hasn't mistakenly sent a sponge bag to Bob Massingbird then....
