I agree, I told my brother (a United fan who obviously didn’t think Mane was that good because he played for us) in his second season that he’d be top 10 players in the world one day and I still believe that. He’s what, 24? So much more to give and just agility and turn of pace i’ve never seen before.

I put Mane in my fantasy team this year, whilst most went for Salah. Mane will be their main man this season i'm sure of it, he's better than Salah and last season was a huge anomaly in Salah's career. Mane can be a superstar.

I don't get the criticism of the only bloke who's scored any goals for us in the last two seasons despite being injured for most of them (fair enough to criticise his fitness record, but can't question his ability imo) - but I'm pretty sure he's played more than 9 minutes this season...

Leroy Sane version of the one I mentioned is probably a better one than the Bolasie one because him and Redmond have the same number of syllables in their name. But this song always sticks in my head whenever I hear a team singing it.

Due a song surely. Been here two and a bit seasons now, clearly the negativity around him was affecting him last year as Hughes has alluded to several times recently. If he responds positively to support then would be great if we could sing about him. As I'm lacking anything original then the old 'Yannick Bolasie runs down the wing for me' song would be a good fit (especially now he does seem to want to actually run down the wing!) if there isn't anything better. Very impressed by his improvement so far this season.

Burnely are the only prem club that would sign Vydra, that's the level of player they sign, Championship level players than Dyche manages to get the absolute maximum out of which creates a decent team. You only have to look at the players that have left for 'better' teams and not done a lot like Michael Keane and Andre Gray. Hendrick, George Boyd, Robbie Brady, Ashley Barnes, Nahki Wells are all Championship players. Vydra would have been a terrible signing for us.

That situation with Pep was the biggest load of ******** I'd ever heard. If he thought Redmond was that good then he'd have signed him. He was annoyed that little old Southampton had nearly nicked a point off of his superstars, and tried to make himself look good by saying it was a compliment to Redmond. Agree completely. Very, very frustrating to see him run down the left, turn round and pass it back to someone else. Today he was popping up everywhere and mixing things up a lot, much improved and hopefully gets a couple of goals soon to get some more detractors back onside.

Hopefully he'll have given Hughes the confidence to play just a flat 4 at the back. That stretched clearance to deny Chris Wood a tap in was absolutely superb, and showed his great anticipation and a bit of agility. As someone above has said, may get killed by the top forwards but hopefully we won't be conceding too many back post headed goals this season like we did so often last year. Very impressive.

He was last year. But we were shocking defensively. He could makes us a hell of a lot more solid defensively, and I don't think Targett would limit us that much more in an attacking sense. Personally. But yeah ideally we have Bertrand at LCB and Bertrand at LWB in a perfect world.

Seen it mentioned by others but I don't see any reason why Bertrand can't be 'our Walker' in a back 3. Adds the much needed pace to the 3 and allows Yoshida and Vestergaard to do all the aerial work whilst Bertrand cleans up like Walker did for England in the World Cup. Then allows Targett to be the LWB, which he did well for us on occasion, providing a couple of good assists, and obviously was a very attacking full back for Fulham last year.
