They might be a shadow of their former selves but that doesn't make them any less huge in terms of support around the world. But however it turns out, he made the decision to go there so I'm not going to have a little cry on his behalf.

I don't have any animosity towards him at all but I certainly don't feel sorry for him. It was his decision to leave, his wages will have inflated beyond his wildest dreams, and he's playing for a massive club. Feel sorry for him? No way.

Utd's right back Varela is awful - (from what I've seen tonight) Their defence has been wide open - no defensive midfielder to protect them. Shame, I was hoping for extra time and penalties.

I hope they do, but it fills me with envy as I think it could have been us up there.

Most frustrating thing for me is that we know we can play SO much better than the dross we've served up the last two games. We've thrown away a strong position in the league with lifeless performances and dented our goal difference. Positives were Bertrand, VVD and Romeu who I'm liking more every time I see him.
