He's good enough to be a bottom tier prem rightback and certainly good enough for cover if you wanted someone cheap. He got a fair amount of stick - but he was ok, and for the money definitely worth it. How can there be a thread about cuco without the goal.

He clearly was - it was an insurance policy if Stephens wasn't going to be good enough. Evidently Jack did well in training and kept his spot.

Ultimately even if he doesn't play - there has probably been some value to have him training with the squad and playing with the U23's. He was clearly brought in for the League Cup final and that alone - Stephens stepped up and has kept the spot, fair play to him. I can imagine Cacaeres starting the last game of the season for us for his first and final cap!

Never underestimate Davo, he's been so important to the team and we play significantly worse when he is not on the pitch.

Puel gets a lot of crap and by and large we have played good football and created a lot of chances - not having Austin/Gabby to finish them off was always going to be problematic. Next season - fully fit squad, the world is our oyster.

Jake Livermore could be an interesting option to partner Romeu in the base of a 4-2-3-1. His passing was a bit wayward at times but still pretty impressed with him last night. JRod for Livermore + a bit of cash wouldn't be a bad deal imo.
