Sweet Jesus. What is your problem? Why do you have to judge all of the time? There have been many changes and Rome wasnt built in a day but hey, lets see where we are on 1st September and if it is not looking good call it a day. I think Ralph was talking about transfers and the squad - not whether we would look like world beaters or not. The Board have already reinvested in the management team and the squad with maybe two more players to come. It is then down to RK and hos team to get the squad firing. A handful of games in will not show you what we will be like come the end of the season. Patience is a virtue.

I have seen what I want to see because this rumour was posted on another thread yesterday (which you responded to by the way) and you have chosen to run it again here with the Delldays spin on it.

Loved Grand Prix. Put a wedding playlist together last week and realised just how much great music is out there. I could do a different 5 every week but The Beatle's Revolver will probably remain my best of all time.

We can argue this all day long but there is a very big difference in saying someone is "going" somewhere as in Wanyama TO Arsenal and a club possibly being interested in a player. For example you could hav written Arsenal interest in Wanyama. That fits in with a "rumour."

Sadly this only goes to prove that there are still a bunch of dinosaurs in football who really havent realised that we are in the 21st century and the world has moved on. What a plank.

I dont think it is right to compare the Palestinians to the oppressed in the ghettos or in South Africa. They clearly have their issues but they are hardly the innocents here. Both sides are entrenched in their positions and causing death and misery.
-
Yes but the way you wrote it it sounded as if he was going to Arsenal.
-
It doesnt say that Wanyama is going to Arsenal. It says that Wenger may be preparing a bid. Two very different things.

Boruc neess to think about some of the howlers he made last season before getting upset about being edged out. You cant do that in the Premiership. I would like him to stay and fight for his place but if he wants out it is no major loss - would like to see a new no 2 in though.

So sad to see booze kill the great George Best and now it looks to be doing the same to Gazza. I hope for his sake that he can be helped but he does look like he is running out of time. Very, very sad.

The bloke needs to grow a pair and act like a professional. If he wants the no 1 spot he needs to fight for it.

If Rojo's agent was playing the field and waiting for a bigger club to come in for him, what were we supposed to do about that? We are never going to have players come here when they can go to Manchester United.

You really are a little ray of sunshine arent you? You do not know that for certain.

Didnt RK say we werent signing any more CHs?

Hammond C-3 as played by the awesome Mr Keith Emerson of The Nice and ELP fame.

I think coaching is very important. Look at the progress that JRod made. Also playing regularly in competitive matches. If he doesnt get many games with us I'd liketo see him go to a decent Championship side for a bit.

Just as pointless using the very first game as an indicator for the season as it was writing us off as relegation candidates just because the team handt had time to gel. It will probably have thrown the bedwetters that we didnt lose 4 or 5 nil and that the club hasnt been sold yet. The club said clearly they intended to move forward and this game has shown that to be the case. Still probably a couple of players shy of where we need to be but the ship has been steadied and we should kick on from here. Well done to RK and to the squad. A worthy start to the season.

Clearly Alexandra the Meerkat on a wind up!

Like every new season we start with zero points on the board. What happens happens and there is no guarantee that if Pochettino had stayed we would have pushed on from last year. Let us just enjoy the football and see what happens.

What position does he play?

I used to work for The Guardian (and Times and Telegraph) and the prefered route is a balanced piece rather than a biased piece. That is not to say every article is balanced but the ones from the broadsheets have tended to be unilke the stories we have seen in the Mail.

Good luck, what do you plan to study?

Spoke to my daughter earlier who got a C in English. Wow she said, just think what I could have got if I had tried!
