Not at all true Greeridge but I am not going to hang the Board out to dry on half baked gossip, rumour and conjecture. If they say they are not selling up and aim for Europe then until they prove otherwise I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt. The people they have brought into the club lends credence to what they say at the moment. If you read my past posts I have been very critical of some Boards. Us oldies have been around a while and seen it all before, that is why we are probably more patient and more forgiving.

Heard a guy from WBA saying how they are struggling to get a team out for the start of the season and about the problems they have had in bringing players in. Not just us then!

Why is it rotten? For starters we have been told that no bid has been accepted. You seem to be getting worked up over nothing. And if he does go I am sure there are good reasons for it. He may well b*gger off for nothing next year anyway so why get so upset?

Agreed. I dont think they have said anything is new, just that we have a good scouting operation in place.

Over the past few years we have picked up some good deals. Lambert and Schneiderlin were both bargains. Fonte has paid his fee back several times over. Clyne was a very good buy. Lovren too at the time. Not all bad news.

I assume so as Reed went to Portugal to try and tie up the deal. It probably was until MU became interested -that is why the club try and keep their deals quiet I expect.
