Couldn’t agree more. I don’t usually post on Twitter, or rant for that matter, but I did this week following all the #RIPSala and “football community coming together” bolox. After the announcement of silences for European games, I suggested it would be fair if there was a minute silence before every European flight leaves the ground for 2 weeks. For the sake of parity of course. Gets right on my baps.

Surprised that he looks like he might have some pace, but doesn’t really at all. Maybe he’s not got the confidence yet to pin his ears back. He’s done well for a young lad coming into to PL football, but he’s not been a stand out performer. IMO anyway.

I’m not sure anyone’s debating whether he works hard physically in terms of running around. You can work hard and run your socks off but still either be a poor decision maker or selfish with the ball. Can’t see him being a rabbit for Ralph’s hutch.

Trouble is, to be a playmaker you need to be able to pass the ball to a team mate.

I’m not defending this at all, but you’re bound to get a few idiots from time to time and at least now they can pretty much be identified and dealt with as they should be. The fact these incidents are reported show how rarely they happen.

IMO, it’s 99.9% better than it was back when I started going in the 80s. The abuse and comments thrown at the players at times then was ridiculous when you lack back at it now. I’ve not heard a racist slur at any game for years now. It’s not perfect by any means but in my opinion it’s about as good as it’ll get, without turning it into a ridiculously sterile and dull environment.

He was excellent end of last season so why he was frozen out under Hughes god only knows.
