Let’s hope the players are listening a lot of listen.

If he’s willing to learn then yes. The question is, is he - and is he capable of changing to become a team player.
-
His work ethic wasn’t the issue for me it was trying to do too much and be too clever with the ball and then being dispossessed. Wasting decent possession by trying to be world beater, rather than keeping it simple when obvious easier options were on.

Could we possibly see some exciting, energy-ridden, attacking, high-press football once more?! Really very exciting news if it comes to fruition.
-
Anyone who saw him on the pitch knows. Didn’t take a football genius to see that he’s not up to it.
-
We’ve all seen him in the PL and he’s nowhere near good enough.

Another great listen, and interesting thoughts. Just can’t agree with the idea to stick with Hughes and if we could get someone like BFS on a game by game basis then why not. Staying up is more important than gambling with the current manager, and you’d have to think at least he’d get us fit, motivated and organised. It can’t be worse than what we have. We could soon reach the point of no return...,

Drove past a written off Ferrari FF by the Winchester turn off at midday too. Pricey prang.
-
I’ll be jumping all over this.
-
Blimey, oddschecker see him at 1/8 and 1/7 to be next manager to go.
-
Great system. Shame our officials probably won’t be able to use it properly, if the WC was anything to go by.

Thought the "undr the cosh" podcast was particularly enlightening....and surprising. What a top bloke.

Sorry, I don't buy the fact that it's the weakness of our squad that's the issue. Are people seriously saying the individuals we have warrant us being in the position we're in? In terms of quality of players we have, we are easily a mid-table side. Simply, they're not being coached/trained hard enough or being played to their strengths - or clearly motivated enough to give a monkeys. I'm not talking attitude, i'm talking being technically good enough to not be in the position we are. Give them some proper coaching, set them up properly, and instill some passion and desire into the side and we'd fare much better. I'm not saying top 6, but certainly not bottom 6.

I'm guessing the 1 we've scored against the cones went in off Jimmy Bollard?! Apologies.
-
I'd have BFS over Moyes any day of the week. I think he'd get the best out the squad, and add a bit of steel and resilience. I don't get these "hands-off" managers, surely that is what you'd want to be as a manager. Having a direct impact/influence on ho your team performs.
-
I'd have BFS or WGS over Hughes. Fitness, direction, cohesion would make us much more competitive. We have a more than capable squad, they just need to be coached and worked hard!
-
Sorry but I just can’t see that happening. There might be a small gesture to appease the fans, but really we have very little impact on how a club is run. Plus if we drop, I’m sure most of us lot will renew and numbers might go to high teens. Years ago it might have worked, can’t see it today. Clubs and fans are so far removed from each other nowadays.
-
There are enough of the clueless new-breed of saints fans around where I sit to show that we’d never get a mass protest anyway. Plus, they don’t need the fans for income anymore so I’m not sure they’d be that bothered.

Long has never been an out and out striker. Ever. That has never been his strength.
-
**** me. What a bunch of *****.

Not sure an afternoon of FIFA really counts...
-
Comedic defending. Have these guys ever done any defensive drills?!

I’d like to see Bednarek back in the fold. He was excellent when he was in the side through necessity at the end of last season. Looked like he might actually be worthy of a regular slot, but clearly Hughes thinks otherwise.
