I feel JWP peaked while at Saints with more aggressive approach and excellent free kicks but then the free kicks tailed off and his open play tended to be sideways plus he wasn't much of a tackler at the end of his time with Saints.

He was always trying something , shooting first time from any position , a master of chesting the ball to keep the play going . He often missed the target but was always having a go !

Perhaps JJM is happy with his position ?

I heard that CB Fry not only played cricket for various teams as well as football for Saints then he signed for Portsmouth but only played 3 games for them before having a career ending injury .

They have the players but they are being played in the wrong position with the wrong set up says Danny Murphy and the Manager believes in his system and won't change , sounds familiar to us Saints fans 😄

Unfortunatly not , fielding said to be difficult once the dew had settled on the outfield . Plus wood could only manage 2 overs. I think they did well in the competition though.

Strange posters need to belittle our women's team . If they are representing our club with the club's name I thought they were worthy of support. Does it matter if they play at our ground ? It is what i would expect if they part of the Southampton set up.

I see Newcastle have cancelled 45 tickets bought for the Barca match by a school in Dundee . They thought they were legit arranged by a vendor but they were all tickets sold by season ticket holders . The season ticket holders have also had their season tickets cancelled .

I miss Bearsy due to his unique humour .
