2017.. in 76 I would of got a kicking from the Utd fans then.

It’s such a shame we can’t travel to the game today as 90% of us would be up and getting ready for what would be a day of singing and drinking. Please share your memories as it should help us get in the mood to watch it later today. Mine: Travelling up Friday in a car decked in Saints colours before arriving at our hotel right next to the stadium. Walking around the stadium around 7.00pm was clearly 80/20 in Manchester’s favour. Back at the hotel around 100 united fans and just me and my son. Yes he decided to belt out a OWTS which got loads of applauses plus we never had to buy anymore drinks. What a great bunch of fans in there. Anyway match day at 8.00am it was 95% Saints fans and they were arriving coach by coach as the numbers got larger and you felt the atmosphere was building. Had a breakfast in the 200 restaurants available around wembley. We found a pub only for Saints fans which was on a hill overlooking Wembley about a mile away. Your flags would fly in the wind as thousand more started arriving at the grounds and at the pub. Then 2 hours before the game we went in search of welcoming the Saints players to the stadium as the atmosphere was terrific. Such a great build up and its a shame we will be denied that today. Good luck Saints and do us proud please.

Would make me laugh if Forster stayed in the middle and they still beat him when blasting it at him.
-
I’ve noticed our keepers keep diving away from where the taker puts it. Wouldn't the % be better to stand there as the last two have scored down the centre? PS - Anyone know if we are guaranteed a European place if we win Sunday?
-
Had a look on the Foxes forum to see what they are saying about us. Many say we couldn’t be any worse than we were against WBA. (True) They have a history with the official in charge like we have with Dean. He sent off Maddison for diving plus has given so many decisions against them. Finally Vardy is in the worse form of his life and many want him dropped.
-
I wish that was the team. Just can’t see any player putting in a double shift this week as they will be worried about Sunday.
-
It’s obviously going to be the same 11 and they will be asked to prove themselves by Ralph. I just wish that if it’s not going well get Adams and Djenepo on around the 70th minute mark and not the 85th.

Omg this almost got me the sack. Worked in the milk trade and at the end of my afternoon round I would dial in every day the club call and listen for about 20 minutes. I rang up a bill of £938 which they made me pay back in instalments. PS 95% of it was bullshit..

1-1 ten minutes to go.... great result for both teams.
-
Probably 90% of those invited to the game would rather stay at home and watch strictly or something.
-
That’s too stupid. I say the offside rule only comes in effect from the penalty area so it doesn’t distract the keeper. Also a 10 minutes sin bin for a dissent to the officials or the 10 yard back rule. I hate the fact a player can tell the official to fuck off while in Rugby they are even scared to talk to him.
-
KWP for me. Without him we fall apart plus he gives us the attacking option.
-
Shocking, this is the worse group of youngsters that I’ve seen play together. Honestly the second touch from 90% of the players is a tackle. Where are the basics gone?

Anyone but Manchester City. IMHO Manchester Utd can beat them in the semi while I think Sheffield UTD gave Chelsea a good go today and that will suit us. If Leicester win then that’s a tricky one as I hate Vardy and he’s too quick for our defence.
-
100% agree Jankewitz should of got on the pitch for at least 15 minutes. He has so much to prove to the fans and it would of been a pressure free situation.
-
Impressed with Bournemouth tonight. Billings is tricky and full of energy, Stacey will roast Bertrand plus Solanke will have our centre defence in a pickle. 2 - 1 to then with Adams getting one at the end.
-
Another injury to one of there star players. Seriously they are without 5 first teamed on Saturday so it should make it a fair contest now.
-
When we lost 9 nil vs Leicester the players said they have lost there identity as a team. Things changed after that and so did the results. Teams couldn’t cope with our players all over the pitch. We would have something like 12/16 shots on goals. Now I think we have gone back to the pre Leicester days and we no longer work as a unit anymore. Gone are those attempts on goal and we are lucky to bring one good save from the keeper per game now.

102 games each Branfoot 38 wins 26 draws 38 losses goals scored 120 against 129 Ralph 38 wins 21 draws 43 losses goals scored 139 goals against 156 Blimey Branfoot has a better record than our Ralph. I had no idea we are this crap!

Sorry to disappoint you but teams fighting for there lives often do turn into top 6 form. Saints did this so often during our proper relegation battles. The thing in our favour is not all 3 teams (Brighton, Newcastle and Fulham) will grind those results but I reckon two of them will. Watched Newcastle vs Leicester the other day and the players were smashing into tackles. Think them and Brighton will step it up another level for sure.
-
Win on Sunday and this leaves us 10 clear with a game in hand. I fancy our chances of survival then as you only realistically need to win 2 more while they need to win 60% of theres.
-
They will have Adam Smith missing with what looks like a bad ankle injury. They also have Lerma missing through suspension. I expect Long is not allowed to play which gives us the upper hand I guess. I suppose it depends if we get some confidence from the Brighton game plus Walker-Peters doesn’t get injured.
