Gareth Crooks puts him in his team of the week. His comments, Liverpool could do with buying JWP as he’s just what they want. What a dick!

Sterling not scored against Manchester Utd in 22 games. He scuffed two chances tonight, it’s weird how you struggle against certain teams. I hear that Danny Ings loves scoring against Pompey -

I remember that Bergkamp strike which was right footed in the top right corner from 25 yards out. He couldn’t hit Jack Schitt before that. -
I saw that Che loves scoring against his old club Sheff Utd and it got me thinking on what players ex or not who loves scoring against us. I give you Son from Tottenham, he always bloody steps up and gets one or two every time. Anyone else you can recall?

Hoping for lots of huff and puff and a decent two nil defeat. No injuries please!
-
Strange Ralph said it was an ankle injury when clearly it looked to be a groin one. Is he playing it down to think it’s a reoccurring injury and it might scare off potentially interested clubs?
-
Need to get Tella coaching Redmond how to become dangerous again.

We can’t play ourselves?
-
A couple of things to add on this. Fulham will beat most teams now as they are playing well as a unit. Unfortunately we will lose if we score early and also Everton will win if they score early. The only hope is for us to still be in the game at the 70 minute mark so the game opens up and we can sneak a goal to take a 1 nil lead.
-
Why do you want to know when it is if your going to watch something else instead?
-
I don’t think it’s about changing the team or the formation. I think we need to change our style. The lads shouldn’t be coming in at half time hanging after chasing shadows for 45 minutes. Patient football and preserve your energy throughout. Keep a solid back 3/4 and none of this all go up and leave nobody back like what happened last night. If it’s 0-0 with 10 minutes to go then the gaps will appear and maybe either be settled for the draw or go and nick one. Worked for Hoddle when he was in charge for us.
-
Leeds are free scoring too, shall we go to the one after that?

Everybody beats Newcastle so it doesn’t tell you anything.

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

I think Fulham will get out of it but I think Palace and maybe us will get sucked into it. -
I’m still fucking pissed off with the penalty decision. How do you defend with your arms behind your back, the player will either go around you easily or smack it straight into your face and knock all your fucking teeth out. I would fucking love it if Bertrand could stand 5 yards away from the ref and blast it at his face. I bet you every single penny he will turn his back and swing his arms for protection. What utter cuntery:/

Newcastle not Arsenal and I agree with you too.
-
And let’s supposing Wolves did get an equaliser then it means we are playing extra time in a defensive set up. I always prefer to keep attacking as it stops the opposition pushing further to attack us and if they do we hit them on the break for a second.
-
Thought Redmond was better tonight in a free role, Salisu who has not played a football match for a year did alright. KWP makes a massive difference for us and we certainly have a chance to reach the final because on our day we can beat anybody.
-
I actually disagree. When we get all our players back we will be better away from home as the game opens up more.
-
I hope not as it would get flagged offside too many times on VAR.

It’s good to bring in the odd young player into the team especially when the first team is playing well. The situation we have now is the youngsters are in a struggling team plus we have about 8 in the match day squad together. Asking too much of them too soon. I honestly think if Tella and Smallbone would of stayed fit and we were playing good football then we would be saying another two off the production line.
-
That was reckless and pathetic. The club gives you a chance and you go and do that.
-
They’ve had the whole month to sort something out, why wait for the last 4 hours?
-
just found my first game details as it was faded in my mind. We beat Bristol City 3 0 in the cup 5th round in 1971. I must of been 6 years old. I do recall being lifted on to the pitch where I sat against the wall on the west stand. Great memories!

What other clubs give the youth a chance like us? He comes across as a twat if he thinks he's going to walk into any other premiership team this season and play regular football.
