Very slow indeed. Against Wolves he was roasted 3 times in 5 minutes and each time he brought the player down. Never even got booked for it which surprised everyone.

And some of the players we lost are no longer commanding a place in their respective first teams.....! VVD, Tadic and Mane are certainly starting every week.

What puzzles me is the likes of Stephens, Romeu, McQueen, Gunn, Yoshida and Bednarek are not getting any game play whatsoever. One, why are they not playing for the under 23’s which is basically the young kids. Second, how do they get match fit? Third, how do they knock on the managers door to say they can do a job for the first team? Ps I know they will probably play tonight in the cup match but the whole team are hardly going to put in a performance if it’s their first game in 4 odd weeks?

Well said... And our players are no longer being coached by the right management. If the first team management can’t coach then it will filter through to the rest of the club. IMHO Davis and Jaidi don’t cut it and probably the rest of them too. Would not surprise me if we have a gambling or drinking culture somewhere?

Nice comments and trust me Hughes is a stubborn old bastard alright. Ive read the Joey Barton book and he hates him so bad, never come across a more stubborn person in my life he said. Probably why some of players are not getting game time and that’s probably because they loosen the salt lid once in the staff canteen.

The young kids at Liverpool and Spurs have been coached to become better players. Thats the breakdown as our guys are not being coached and are becoming average squad players because of it. I’m telling you that Targett, McQueen and Gallagher would feature in the current Liverpool and Spurs team if they had at least two years under a decent coaching team.

Pottychino and Klippity would of put them in as they know how to bring kids into a team. Thats something we used to do years ago.

Yes I do. Confidence and coaching is the two things a great manager provides. Koeman got good things from average players.
