Alpine's perfectly entitled to his opinions and anyone is entitled to disagree. It would be helpful everyone's arguments were logical and based on facts. This is not possible as much of it is subjective. Those of us who go to games get a different view of things to those who don't. But I often go into work on a Monday and, discussing the game with colleagues, wonder if I've been at the same match as views differ considerably. In my view, once you resort to insults you've lost the argument. Name calling belongs in the infant school playground - it just shows weakness of thought and immaturity.

Well they did hear all of the evidence, which is more than any of us have.

I remember getting our first one from Boots in about '81, and they'd been around for at least a couple of years.

My trusty Omega Chronostop given to me by the now Mrs ecuk268 in 1975. Still keeps excellent time. Have it cleaned and oiled every 2 years by the guy in St. James Rd.

But it's not a very good way of doing it. I used to be involved with running pheasant shoot and we had a lot problems with foxes. The hunt were allowed on this particular part but they were hopeless at actually catching anything. The fox would just move to land where the hunt didn't go. Shooting, carried out by the right people, is far more effective.
