The entire point in sending him on loan to play at a lower level, lots of people seem to be missing that as well! Had we not totally arsed up this season he would have returned in the summer a much better more confident player perhaps ready to be a premier league player. Sadly we totaly arsed up the season and will be relegated so he is unlikely to want to return, this doesn’t mean he is good enough for us this season or that next season he will be a premier league star for Burnley the gap between the league is large and we have a couple of great examples in the squad of how difficult it is to turn championship form into premier league form! Dear god we are so awful that people are now listing Walcott as a starter when two weeks ago everyone was saying he should retire! The only thing that will really make a difference is if someone finally manages to light a fire under the players which I’m not sure the nice guy in charge is capable of! Every player involved in last night embarrassment should be doing shuttle runs until they like this morning they were out played and out fought by some league two cloggers ffs! The real shame is we were already down after the Leeds game so last night was the biggest game left this season for us and the team just couldn’t be bothered….

He maybe a 41 year old make weight but the current person who plays in goal is not even good enough to be called a goalkeeper, he looks further out of his depth than a toddler in a diving pool. The only possible reason for his continued selection is that it’s in his contract I’d rather see a youth team player between the sticks than GB who looks like an appalling piece of transfer business, he is Angus Gunn bad if not worse!

Because it’s the same end result of a move to Chelsea and he probably gets a double dip in bonuses and I bet his agent would make a packet! Money makes the world go round! I’ve never really worked out how these buy back clauses work if the player says no, it’s something that hasn’t really been tested I guess!

And it wilL need to be enough to stop them just buying him back for 40m and then selling him to Chelsea, for me he looks like a 50-60 million player.

Not exactly the most inspiring appointment but a massive improvement on Jones mainly because he won’t start by telling everyone he is the best manager in Europe and chosen by god to bring the saints marching up the table! Hopefully he will set the team up to suit the players we have and look to play football not hoofball. I don’t think he has a hope of keeping us up as it would just take to bigger turn around in form which rarely if ever happens I’d be happy with showing some fight for the rest of the season to build a little positive momentum going into next season in the championship, teams that go down with a whimper struggle to get back up as it is hard to reverse that momentum!

Mara isn’t big enough for Jones ball and now we have seen how amazing the fully unleashed front footed aggression if jones ball is I’m sure we are all glad he didn’t carry on with the team from the city game! Today we looked amazing, cut the to shreds and creates chance after chance it was only the impaired backs to the wall performance from wolves and some terrible luck that stopped us winning if they hadn’t had the advantage of fewer players than us we really would have smashed them!! Jones is a joke, how do we end up putting out that team? How do we end up throwing away what should have been the easiest three points in recent history and how is Jones aloud to run away and hide in the dressing room? He should be out on his ear by morning I’d rather see the tea lady pick the starting 11 and just tell them to get on with it, she’s probably get a better response from the players and unless she too is bat shit crazy would get a better response from the fans. Enough is enough, relegation is a certainty but let’s at least go down with dignity.

Close and competitive? Have you been watching different games? Loosing by one goal doesn't mean the game was close we've hardly had a sniff in most of our defeats and even our cup victories against lower league dross have been unconvincing, Jones makes Mark Hughes look like a footballing genius and that takes some serious effort!

It's nice that w have brought some players without selling the best ones at the club for once and hopefully some at least will be an improvement on what we have, shame we couldn't have got the striker we needed in at the start of the month as we might not b bottom of the league if he'd hit the ground running. Big negative of the window is we still have a manager who doesn't know what he is doing!

3-5-2 whith lyanco at centre half and the new big man upfront trying to pull the ball down from the heavens every two minutes, Jones finally has his target man so expect full on hoof ball, we will go two down then revert to a back four and play the ball sensibly and suddenly look much better rinse and repeat until Jones is sacked of someone beats some sense into him (note I'm not actually advocating someone beats him it's a figure of speach!) as clearly he is incapable of learning from direct experience!

Also tella is free and zero risk if he doesn’t work out we have lost nothing, any other championship player particularly a forward is a risk as many of them turn out to be not quite good enough!

We might well find another one but they key point is we have as much chance of finding one for 15 million as we do 30 and for every Pelle you’ll have to endure a carillo a che and a few failed youngsters!

I haven't said that what I have said is that all this talk of if we put the Aribo etc money in the striker pot then there is no guarantee we would have a striker any better than Che, yes we clearly need a new striker and I'm disappointed we haven't added one but it's not easy and busting the budget is no guarantee of success we are clearly trying to get players in it's just a question of timing and the right player at the right price there is certainly no point blowing the budget just for the hell of it people seem to quickly forget the Carrillo example!
