Cork is a silky player but he and JWP were outmuscled by the bigger and stronger Spurs midfield. Wanyama is the type of big midfielder who bosses the opposition to allow the more attacking midfielders do their job. Sadly we have a lot of fans who knock him and don't realise that he is a very important cog in the side and Cork has to play second fiddle to him when VW is fully fit again

He's a great defender and a leader but has not been himself since his return. As for Boruc he has been lots of slack that KD didn't get in that department, I do think he has lost his confidence and that will come back

It's difficult though, we want our players to be comfortable on the ball and pass, to then ask them to hoof is against that. Personally today it was Lovren who got caught twice in the same way

Lovren has not been the same player since his injury, we need more power in midfield and pace up front when the game stretches. Add to that AL needs to somehow learn to put pace into his shooting, if he had that he would be one of the best players in the country

but Ericsen and Soldado were not that good, we frigging gave Ericsson the 2goals by mistakes, he did little apart from that

We were complacent after going 2up, I felt even at that stagE we would throw it away. You just get the gut feeling at times especially after watching saints for so many years. Oh Sherwood is a smug gut, he constantly looks up to the screen to see if he is on and then plays up his up and at them stuff.

Personally I think Wenger has ruined more young talent than improved them. Most of the young stars he has taken from other clubs have not improved as much as they should have IMO.

due to lack of players and injuries, do not be under any illusion that RL would have got a cap had it not been for injuries and suspensions. The media were scathing and oblivious to RL over play until he played for England. The general man in the street relates to the RL story and he is very popular but Hodgson is a cautious man and I feel will take the old guard etc. I do hope I'm wrong
