Glasgow is delighted as he has not rated him, nothing like praying a player fails eh. He was poor today but so were so many of the team. We lost to this seasons champions. Iam not ready to bin Osvaldo yet, but he does need to start showing a bit more

imagine if the extra PP's had not been given, eg from the new tv contract. It must be an extra 4-5 m. In the last couple of years

Southampton in talks with German international midfielder Aaron Hunt
OldNick replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Surely no bookie will take a bet from him as they have taken too many hidings in the past. Only kidding Glasgow -
to a degree, I assume all his champions league appearances and winners medals will be filling his Wikipedia page

Just because it is about saints that does not give ita divine right to be sold in the club shop. I assume the profit margin does not make stocking it worthwhile. The space may be used for items that give the club more revenue. Tough though that is after the work gone into the book, the club have to look after their own revenue streams.

It is all very well saying don't sell him, doesn't Shaw have a choice for his own future? Personally I would like him to stay, but his niggling injuries are a concern and perhaps a hindrance to his progress. If he wants to stay Iam sure the club will keep him,if his agent wants him to leave then we are in trouble

I watched Sky early this morning and they were interviewing somebody whose father was in the pub. He was asked how he felt that a Police helicopter had crashed into the pub and he laughed. It seemed to me he found it amusing that Policemen may have been hurt

Well Barry I prefer to see the new respect our club is getting when we play the top teams ,rather than your negative view of the progress we have made. It is incredible progress and I am rather chuffed that I have supported NC down this route, even when some of his seemingly more odd decisions were made. Reading that article showed to me t hat we are heading to be a major force in the near future. Yes I was happy to play a weakened side in the League cup,as at this moment I do not believe we could beat 4 of the best teams to go on and win it. Better that we save our resources to concentrate on our league position

100 would be of no surprise, as there are loads of people out of work

I think Shaw is brilliant but he isw injury prone

are we not making a bit much of this? its a friggin lads match.

Happy birthday Mick. As for the goal, how the move kept going with Cassels involved makes it even more amazing

It takes all types of temperament in a Team. Osvaldo celebrates one of our goals as much as anybody,if he was such a drama queen he would not care.

I doubt their fans are too fussed about the game, it has little relevance.

The directors only want adulation,as soon as the going gets tough they will react and do whatever to appease to keep their hero status. Watch the purse strings being released a bit in Jan. They will point to the 30% ratio to justify it.

Just read the BBC article re Barkers sacking and it seems Crawley have not scored for 7games.

would you know what it feels like being the clever/attractive kid, I was told you and Rebecca Adlington were twins

apparently Bradbury was cornered by some Pompey fans and made him take his shirt off to prove he didnt have the tattoo.

Will the Southend player who was sent off still get his Cup Final winners medal?

If there was no oil revenue coming in I doubt they'd get a vote in favour. If only we couldn't dig a pipeline into it and start pumping it into England. Are they 100%sure that all the oil is Scottish.? Apparently independence will give each Scot £600 a year more. That is if their figures are correct. Of course politicians never gild the lily -
Whilst I agree MP might look to move to a bigger club, I'm not sure he has finished what he has started here and may like to see it through. I suspect whether his family are near and settled will be a major factor. I would expect Spanish clubs could be a bigger draw .

Wherever you go you are likely to bump into Spurs fans, it is unusual to do the same with Saints fans.in fact you get posts on here saying that someone saw a saints shirt in Ibiza etc, if the same posts were on Spurs sites there would be pages of them. Spurs are a massive club, just below the uTds etc but far bigger than us. We are a provincial club that has potential to be bigger than now, but it will depend on consistent success and a much bigger stadium. We could repopen this debate in 20years time
