  1. Phil,I think any fair minded person would agree. The bankers have personally cost me hundreds of thousands of £'s. Both ends of the political spectrum are to blame, as always the people in the middle of the 2 get hurt most.
  2. There will be no Frost on Sunday Im told
  3. when people understand that society does not owe them a living we may get somewhere. There are billions of Chinese, Indians, and others around the world that want to eat our kids next meal. Unless we stay competitive in the wages and conditions we will be at the mercy of our competitors. I dont want to see child labour and the working man being treated poorly, but we all have to be realistic and the strife that strikes cause will end in tears. The public sector also need to understand that the government have a budget and unless they stick to it or things will never get better.
  4. they have to justify their existance. If they have genuine grievances then fine. Sadly too many of these people live a life of envy and distorted politics, unrest makes them famous. Anybody around in the seventies remeber the names of the union leaders of the day, I cant recall many in the last 20years or so
  5. is it ok by the authorities to provide only one toilet for 900 people. i would have thought the local council should have something to say about that
  6. Is he just off to a David Blunkett lookalike contest?
  7. You are a wag Turkish. One of the biggest trolls on here but at times you give good debate. MiserableOldGit should be given the respect he deserves. Too many posters have left due to the intimidation a pack mentality on here. Yes we all put some nonsense on here but some just do it for effect and to make an online celebrity. MOG don't let it get you down,we all get to an age where the childish posts cheese you off but just skate over them and read the educated and decent debate. Not mine of course bu there are some good and also very amusing posters on here still
  8. You get the point though
  9. Anyone got the stats of how we got on in the PL with those 2 playing alongside each other?
  10. I also would like to see pace in the side. I assume Mayuka was brought for that ,but he doesn't seem to cut it
  11. surely of they want to follow their heritage they should have a totally red kit, as they have spent most of their years in the red
  12. He looked useful against Sunderland but passing with the outside of your foot can only work so many times. He was wasteful when he got a chance.Had we got a decent result yesterday his performance would have hardly made a post on here. He was ok for us but we need to up the quality and his mood swings do not help the team
  13. What a ridiculous lot of nonsense. First he was supposed to be a bargain and now I read on here is worth 12.50. We say Pompey have thick fans lol
  14. Osvaldo made a chance for himself and was unfortunate it wasn't a foot or so to Ruddys right and it would have been a goal.that one piece of work gives me confidence that he will do well once he has settled in
  15. When you think of all the gnashing and wringing of hands went on as we were trying to sign GR and Osvaldo and look now how we are rating them. There is far too much emphasis on here about the price tag and 'big name' signings than assessing if they are any good. It seems to me any player who takes a long time to make a decision to sign turns out to be pants. Rudi, Phillips, Ramirez, and perhaps Osvaldo fit n to those categories.
  16. I think you have a bit of an agenda Art, I don't think you forgive getting rid of NA I expect AL was taken off as we hadn't scored and that MP felt that a fresh player with creativity may unlock their defence. Ok it didn't work but it could well have. My only real concern is that Fox is near the first team
  17. Oh come on, if Sunderland had scored early aka last week Palace would not had a sniff.
  18. as much as you will hate the fact,I totally agree with that
  19. why has he posted the story on the internet? surely it should be dealt with by solicitors. I have seen many of these stories in the past and there is normally the other side that needs listening to as well. I assume the £1500 is for damage and mess caused by the tenant.(although it does seem quite a lot) Was the rent paid in full? Whilst I sympathise regarding the stalker, should the landlord have to pay for any damage caused??? I am not a landlord by the way and so that is not why I am showing sympathy on that side.
  20. Did he get away with it?
  21. the bloke wearing the new kit - Darleen
  22. it would take you. A lot of energy to reply, I assume all the banging of fists on your desk as you try to get a decent reply together must sap your energy. No doubt you have to consume energy drinks to keep up
