are you really saying that RL is responsible for the next 2 seasons? Forget about the relegation because that happened and you have to react to the new circumstances of our position. the first year was always going ot show buig losses as the club had to try and dismantle a club that was pL in all except its league status.It had built a PL cost base you dont shed that overnight.

This is something that I cant get around my head. There was much talk of Gavyn Davies and Frost etc, but where are they now when they could buy the club very reasonably. They may not have been therre in the first place but RL was able to proceed. Business can be a dirty game and Askham saw the best deal for himself and his other cohorts.I had waited from a kid for the new ground and it was in his initial tenure that it was provided.There is much discussion how and who was responsible but he was the man in charge at the time and like Brown who got the credit for the boom Lowe must get some for the stadium.I also recall him playing in a Testimonial and the fans singing his namer and willing for him to score.None of the abuse then, this of course carried on with us moving to the new stadium and then with WGS and the cup final. No boycotts then, no I wont be putting money in his pocket etc etc.Can you see why I get dismayed? Yes mistakes were made, but not by only him. He was chairman when we went down and so he must take a large proportion of the blame but at the same time he did change the personel and we did have a squad that should have stayed up.He didnt give away the leads or miss open golas, he gave the managers enough tools to do the job but they and the players failed us all. They have swanned off and taken thier big bucks (far more than any of the chairman) and left us in the mire. As i say find us a decent alternative and I will happily follow.

I dont think many are on 100k a year yet, that is why we are playing them.

Trousers the problem must be that the OS must ghost write some of the stuff and they will tow the club line. I believe the players are behind what we are doing (especially the younger ones) and so try to rally us.Footballers in the main are just normal people and are not politicians and so give out the same old stuff.

I stick up for Lowe, the players and some of the managers if I feel they are not getting a fair deal from the criticism. Wanton criticism that is not valid I will defend. Sadly a lot of the abuse is not thought out but just because its Lowe. I have said on many occasions get a proper alternative and that is fine but something better than the last lot who did not ready us for the parachute payment coming to an end.To me that is fair.

Perhaps if you get a quote where I am I might be able to confirm it.And do not confuse me understanding the constraints the club is under with Lowe being my beloved, I would take another person to run the club at a drop of a hat if they were better.We tried it before and they were worse, so find us a good un and I will follow place some more jokers up like last tiem and I wont.

I think it was pointed out this morning that the administrator has no responsibility to leave the club in any state for future but only to get in as much as he can to pay the creditors.

I did think that they wouldnt resort to letting your type into the hotel and a quick call confirmed that to be the case.In fact they said they moved you on as the Keep Britain Tidy campaign was coming to town. Like myself you seem a passionate fan. We both see the raids differently but do want the same thing. If old pro footballers were cheap we would have been able to get rid of ours. Some of no quality or on Bosmans would be reasonable to a degree. What I think you will find is even if they are Bosman frees the money instead of transfer fee is now a signing on fee, or larger wages. The kids in the main will be on 50k a year and some on more (guess) wheras an older player would have moved up the wage structure the last few years and be commanding a few k a week.Now he may take a cut in wages to get to play but not down to the kids level. Therefore you get a lot more young players for your money.Now whether that is a good footballing decision that is another thing but if you are trying to convince the bank you are trying to cut costs to stay solvent it is a better arguement. I still think we need to hold back and give them time, as there is no other route until january at the earliest.

OSM I dont think those comments were aimed at any one person/poster but a general statement.In fact i dont recall you ever having a hissy fit on here in fact this post is the closest to one by you. Bigoted views maybe would be fair, but that is my opinion only. I have never said he is not the person I would wish to run the club, there are many better but he is not the worst choice of what went before, again IMO.

Again Im on your side, I dont want anyone but RL etc but if we are to get rid of him I would require the lot to be rid of. Askham ,Coroner the lot.Let the club find a complete new identity under completely new faces so nobody has an axe to grind.
