I could see Administration coming much quicker with Mr Crouch. I can see relegation coming much quicker with Mr Lowe & Mr Wilde.

I am only stating the facts in answer to the original poster. Checked Saga's team and no he has not scored for them yet. -

Davies not yet in Stoke squad and has not played this season yet. Still injured? What good would he have been to us? Saganowski - Has he scored for his loan club yet? Rasiak - fractured his shoulder at the beginning of the season with Watford and still not fit. Seems correct decisions on Lowes part if you ask me. -
Because Crouch would not give him an option.

Banks pull the financial strings not dictating tactics, formations, team selection. That should be down to the Manager/Coach. The bank will say, your debt is increasing and it needs to be rectified. The club decide how that is done. Expect sales in January.

Just returned from watching a side likely to be relegated. Defending of set pieces is so so poor. Davis stays on his line too much and does not come to catch or punch. That puts the defence under even more pressure and goals result. Brian O'Neil (ex Saints player for you young'en) said at half time he was with Micky Channon in the week and they agreed the team has no heart. Those players in the heart of the team who can get a grip of the game is what I think he meant. We failed to challenge second ball all over the pitch. Let's make no mistake Watford are a poor side. We lack a clinical finisher up front. This team will be relegated but hopefully will be the better for it. I do not see any other way bearing in mind our ever worsening financial position and reducing attending fan base.

I suspect a gate of 18,000 or there abouts.

Nick Illingsworth would have got it from trusted sources or direct from the horses mouth but he has now been let down twice, as have many of us in the past.
-
Doubt it. Long Shot was told direct from Fulthorpe at Doncaster and then it was USA, Germany and somewhere else I cannot remember. Now it's Arab money!!!!! Don't listen to rumours people, they are just that, regurgitated half truths that alter in content from person to person. Long Shot had a one to one but what he was told did not materialise. This has been going on since May and there have been at least 5 first hand accounts told to me (spoke to Cousins or Fulthorpe direct) but none of the promises materialised.

No one remember Bill Dodgin. Took us to the brink of promotion to the old first division 2 years on the trott but then left for Fulham when the board allegedly meddled (where have we heard that before!)
-
Not going to happen imo. Too many false dawns. Too much chatter from those who are involved. Too much like the "tommac" incident without the comic postings.
-
Absolutely. I am not knocking what they are doing. Without their intervention on cost cutting we might already have sunk. And that is not to be taken as a dig against Crouch either.
-
But they are not reducing there debt, they are increasing it and that suggests the bank will be asking them to find ways to get back on track. It will not come from increased revenue in sales of tickets or merchandise. It will have to come from player sales. More misery to come in the transfer window I am afraid.

I was speaking to a friend on Friday and he asked me how the Fulthorpe bid was going and said he would buy £10,000 worth of shares on Monday to speculate. This was against my advice as I do not think the Fulthorpe thing will come to fruition. So it could be him and I would not read too much into it.

Hi mate good to hear from you. I was 20 and my wife just 18 when we married much against the advice of our parents who never the less gave us all the support we could wish for when they realised we would go ahead in any event. We had been courting (old word I know but it was ok then) for exactly 3 years having been engaged for exactly 18 months. Have been happily married now for over 35 years with two girls aged 32 and 26. So it does work for some but as you will know you both have to work hard at it, be open and honest and share experiences. Sorry to all those who have tried but have not been so lucky.

Did the investment rumours kill off the fans?

Agree. -
I will let others judge Tris, not you.

I have set up a temporary email rontic04-tsw@yahoo.co.uk for you to email me. I will delete the address after I hear from you. Don't put the information on that reply. When you email me I will reply on my main account asking for the information.

My doctor saved my life back in 2000 so no complaint from me.

See my full comment on this thread Tris. And if you could go back to the original posting you will see I said I would advise Mr Wilde that it would all be on the record. So my promise on TSF to tell him that was true and carried out. However he made it clear that if we approached it on that basis their would be no chat as such. I made a decision and others on the SOS team agreed, not to breach a confidence. If you remember I always made it clear I would not breach a confidence. That is why some of you kicked up in the first place. I have always been consistant about that but as usual you twisted it to suit yourself.

See mine above. Also Chelsea paid a big part of Le Saux's wages when he was with us.
-
I thought exactly the same at the time. We did that with Quashie when he went to WBA.

I am not one to lie or try to cover up. There are some posters on here who know some of my other contacts and they know I get nothing from the Surmans other that about Drew himself. I also have substantial amount of information from other sources who have asked me not to disclose to the web. None of that is disclosed and I retain their trust. Remember the stick I took over the SOS episode when I refused to back down from a promise I made to MW not to disclose any of the conversation of that meeting. Anyway enough on the subject. This is my last post on this subject
