  1. There are many very influential supporters who have looked at this and are worried that Lowe can pick us up from Administration. It is a REAL possibility.
  2. Sorry but that is pure speculation. If it is a "done deal" as others have reported how come (1) Lallana knows nothing about it (2) as a consequence has not had any discussions about terms (3) as a consequence has not signed a deal (4) as as consequence it is not a done deal As for someone coming the other way, that will increase the wage bill not reduce it. WE CANNOT AFFORD PREMIESHIP WAGES and the cash exchange will not help reduce our debt. It is a non event.
  3. If we reach the playoffs then Lowe/Wilde will have been a success. I am not holding my breath as an attendee of matches.
  4. Same thing...nothing although he was aware that Reading had made an approach before the last window closed but the club did not tell him his agent did.
  5. It is a fanzine site. Pure guess work. Lallana and his agent have not been contacted by anyone.
  6. I have no problem with Mr Lowe not attending away matches. He is the plc Chairman and CEO. His time should be spend dealing with plc matters as many have advocated. I would have expected Mr Wilde to be there as the football Chairman. However, if business or personal engagements precluded him attending who was sent to represent the football board? If no one, it is a poor show. Or is it normal in this league? Do we have representatives from the away club board at all our home games? I wonder if someone from the club would like to comment? Mr Wilde?
  7. Selling our younger players will not solve the problem medium term. We may get a couple of million but their wages are insignificant so it only solves a short term cash crisis. Sell Rasiak, John, Saganowski and Dyer, all whom are on loan at present and you might collect a couple of a million but more significantly about £2m off the wage bill permanently. Lowe has hinted at continuing with youth. Whilst it is not certain, Lallana, Surman and Scheiderlin will stay I will be suprised if he tries to sell them at this stage. It will because no one wants the big wage earners above and they will continue to leech the goodness out of the club (but that is not their fault - they have a contract)
  8. Well actually we bought him a beer and lunch. As for being supporters of his, far from it. The man walked away from the meeting and told lies to Andrew Cowen. None of the SOS group trust him.

  10. A fans view http://www.doctorkish.com/cgi-bin/clinic/display.pl?month=200811&date=20081122&time=2205 Well worth a read. Frankie Valley has been writing good stuff for a long while. Smacks of how I felt last season.
  11. 5th booking for Surman..1 match ban? Likely to be able to play on Tuesday and suspended for Charlton?
  12. Here is the nearest I could get http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=66617 http://www.munsterfans.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=14164

  14. I would have thought so and as I said earlier we are likely to be in for a very bumpy and uncertain ride for a few years at least. But at least we have avoided Administration for the very immediate future.
  15. Thanks Steve, that was the confirmation I was awaiting. Well done to the Bond Holders and Barclays for continuing to support SFC.
  16. Except Leon opposed signing Euell but was overrulled by the executive. The John deal was down to Burley and the executives as well although I do not know Crouches opinion on that one.
  17. I am not really sure what "short term" means. I suspect it will be until the end of this financial year. If we survive financially I can state without doubt we will still have a very bumpy financial ride for the next couple of years.
  18. Agree with all that particularly the "going concern". Unless SLH can secure some working funds we are done for. But I am pretty sure it can be sorted short term.
  19. He came on for 2nd half in a reserve game in October, played the next reserve game in full and disappeared off the radar again, assume injured. We did well selling him it seems. Sad for him as he had potential but he seems highly injury prone.
  20. Done.
  21. This is the position as at today having just received emails following enquiries last evening.. Drew, Adam and their families and their agents are unaware of any attempt to sell them or any bids for them. They still want to play for Southampton. If something has been lined up they are unaware so any talk of pre contractural agreements are pure nonsense. Those of you who know where I get my player information from will know this statement is as factual as it can be. The rest of you will just have to trust my posting.
  22. Nope not Marc. He never got a penny
  23. Ran off with the money laughing all the way to the bank. I am not joking.
  24. It was a joke!!
  25. Good point. If they can get enough interested they might get some media coverage.
