First I doubt very much we have had a £6m bid turned down. I doubt we have made a bid that high. Hooper has yet to gain any national first team recognition even as a possibility in the near future. Sure he is scoring goals and may be just want we want but £8m quoted in the press. You must be joking. If this guy is such hot property how come no other club have gone in with a bid? They will have seen the press reports of Saints interest! IF we have to pay £6m that is a lot of money. I know the owners/manager want to build for the future but we know they will not be held to ransom on price. As far as I am concerned this deal will not be made in this transfer window.

Are you sure the sound is not a fax machine. If someone has set the fax to redial if not sent it will continue to dial. The lady on the phone may have heard you as the fax tried to send and that might account for her confusion and realising it was the wrong number. Suspect, if I am right that will be the end of the calls.

Whilst many will be suprised that Lallana is playing, our fit and available squad up front makes it necessary. From what I know of Adam, he will want to play every game and will relish leading the line or playing in the hole. I predict he will shine today.

Strengths: Davis is a great shot stopper and kicker. Up there with the best. Has a great presence behind the scenes as club captain and highly respected by players and coaches. Weaknesses: He does not command his area enough. He cannot hold a shot leading to too many follow up chances. He has a near post weakness. His distribution from the back is poor because he needs too much thinking time. Overall: Great servant for the club but as we move up the leagues, so we will need a keeper who has his strengths but not his weaknesses. Time for a new keeper from outside of the club. Too late for Davis to rectify his weaknesses. They are part of his make up and have been with him for years. Premier with Sunderland, admittedly with a very poor team, showed him for what he is.

I do not know if Lallana is still carrying an injury or not. Lke many in the team he seems to have suffered a drop in form. BJBSAINTS - Harding only had 2 assists last season as a regular and only 1 the previous season! Fox has already got 5 in half a season.

Did he have some command of the English Language????

One question - does he have a command of the English Language? If not he will take even more time than usual to settle in a new side let alone a new country
