Hated the fact that Mané had speed, could dribble and shoot but couldn´t pass the ball at all. I was one of those who wrote Mané off half way through his first season. Won´t do that to MD. Tried not to write off MoEly this season, but i think i have now.

I think that a Bednarek Vestergaard central defence would be enough for us to stay up. Not saying it wouldn't be nice to have another good CD but i would spend money on other positions first.

If we are going to play a 4-2-2-2 do we need another CD? Would be happy to start with Bednarek and Vestergaard, with Yoshida as backup and one of our youngsters or even Stephens as a 4th choice CD. Would rather spend that money on a RB to compete/alternate with Valery, a striker and an attacking midfielder/winger.

Totally agree with almost everybody that Forster, Stephens and Elyonoussi hasn't shown anything over the season to make me want to keep them next season. And i have been a supporter of keeping Ely. I do however not agree that Elyonoussi was the worst player on the field yesterday. Valery, Stephens, Forster and Ings were all worse. Armstrong and Elyonoussi were equally bad. Bednarek, Lemina, Höjbjerg, Bertrand and Long were better but not good. Valery has been really good all season sence Hassenhyttel took over. Do not mind that he made a mistake, better now than in a game that meens something. He'll learn from it and become a better player. i'd vote for Bednarek or Long as yesterdays least worst player.

Only Bednarek, Forster, Long and Höjbjerg has had a decent first half. Valery, Stephens and Ings worst on the pitch. Elyounoussi, Armstrong and Bertrand close behind. Lemina not that good either.

Would give Carillo, Boufal, Elyonoussi, Hesketh and Reed a go at the start of next season. Maby not starting but in the squad. A new good CD. And a good Striker is enough for me this summer. Reed, Ramsey or Yoshida can replace Valery if he can't play. Sell Gallagher, Austin, Stephens, Forster, Clasie, Hoedt and McQueen or Targett.
