  1. Was hoping he'd be talking in English by now....
  2. Would have sold a bucketload if they'd chosen that design. A pleasant protest indeed, until NC does something mental like banning anyone in stripes from SMS.
  3. This is what annoys me the most about this whole sorry saga, the fact the kit was £42? last season, and this year they give us season ticket holders 10% off to make out we're getting a bit of a return on our loyalty. Then they put the shirt up to £50 making it £45 for us and we still end up paying more than last season. Absolute bunch of ****s. By the by, I thought some sort of law was put in place about 10 years ago regarding how often a football club could change their shirt following a bit of uproar over Man U having about 10 kits in 3 years?
  4. That soccer direct site also let you add an embroided badge, and a sponsor, and it still only comes to £19.25!
  5. The pictures in that article just reminded me how class our Championship promotion shirt was.
  6. That kit looks proper ****, worryingly judging by what people claiming to be itk have said it would appear to be genuine too.
  7. I've had it pre-ordered for a while now. The reviews have been pretty incredible, claiming Naughty Dog have surpassed Uncharted 2, which if true is a remarkable feat.
  8. I've completed the zebra finance credit thing, do we get any confirmation from the ticket office that its all gone through?
  9. I'd agree with this, and I'd even add that I believe it was the wrong decision to make him captain in his first season of the Prem. I feel that he should have been allowed to find his feet in this league first, without having the weight of leading the team on his shoulders at the same time.
  10. Been reading this article on yahoo, could any of them do a job for us? http://m.yahoo.com/w/ygo-frontpage/lp/story/uk/833406/coke.bp%3B_ylt=Aqytcf3I4MtbLghU5vO23Bix.tw4%3B_ylu=X3oDMTFyNjc0YWpmBGNwb3MDNARjc2VjA21vYmlsZS10ZARpbnRsA3VrBHBrZwNpZC04MzM0MDYEcG9zAzQEc2xrA2ltYWdl?ref_w=frontdoors&view=today&.intl=gb&.lang=en-gb
  11. That's what it's like to be Pompey, Thats what it's like to be small, we wear Adidas, they wear sondico, sondico.... happy with this news, love that we're gonna be kitted out in one of the worlds biggest brand.
  12. I actually liked this seasons shirt, but then I like it when we mix the kits up a bit so it's not just a variation of stripes every time we change. 2 of my favourite shirts are the centenary one and the 99-01 home kit which barely counts as stripes either
  13. That camera angle plus the screams when the shots are fired really remind me of the first Grand Theft Auto. Nice politically correct shout by someone on the 2 minute mark.
  14. Jord aren't you a bit old to be a ball boy now? Have you lied to the club Kanu style?
  15. god love Muse, they sure know how to put on a show.
  16. Out of curiousity does anyone have a rough idea of hour much we can expect to make next season compared to this?
  17. Random, yet hilarious http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4932208/Brighton-set-to-call-police-over-dressing-room-poo.html
  18. @MarioBaloltelli: Loic Remy, Ched Evans and Marlon King are in a car, who's driving? The Police.
  19. Cracking end to the game. Have to put up with Chelsea singing that ****ing song for another year now though.
  20. Even if they'd won the FA Cup I still think he'd have been given the boot. Sign of times unfortunately, with owners like City's they expect success and have no time for sentiment. I'm sure Mancini won't be short of job offers though.
  21. We lost our first 5 in 98/99 and still stayed up, most media outlets seem to forget that though. League 1 promotion to Premier League survival in 3 seasons, Incredible.
  22. Indeed it was, the linesman initially thought Beatts was offside but he actually started his run in our half of the pitch so was onside. The brief wave of the flag was enough to convince the ref to blow the whistle though. Shame as it was a cracking finish, and we went on to lose the game.
  23. The thing is West Brom still have a chance of finishing 8th, and Swansea still have a chance to finish 9th. Final league position means extra ££££, particularly in the Prem. Teams aren't just going to rollover and let the opponents tickle their belly as they have nothing to play for. You highlight the Newcastle QPR game, but just look how already relegated Reading got on against Fulham on Saturday. Honestly we've got some serious wet fannies on here, we're clear of the relegation zone with worse teams below us and people are panicking like the world is about to end. Did any of you live through the relegation battles of the Dell years? That's when we should have been really worried, but we always kept the belief that we would survive. Keep the faith! People need to manage their expectations. We're a newly promoted side, anything 17th place and above should be considered a successful season.
  24. I suppose the sensible response to this thread would be how about we worry about staying in the Premier League first?
  25. Guly? Interesting. Where's yoshida? Was hoping to have him and Fonte instead of Hooiveld.
