  1. Frederico "The Torpedo" Arias. Dubbed as a brilliant winger who was insanely fast. The only speedy thing about him was how quickly he was shown the door.
  2. Dickson did play and had his name read out prior to the game. Was quite a battle I thought, with some hefty challenges going in surprisingly for a friendly. Don't think it was quite as one sided as our OS makes out, Sholing certainly held their own against us. Our number 6 at the back was class, really bossed the defence and won everything in the air, can't say the same about our No.5, was all arms and legs and not a lot else.
  3. Apart from a few people everyone seems to agree with Matt, so they should too as Rooney was, and has been awful for England ever since he got injured in Euro 2004.
  4. Yes, they reminded me of Barcelona. HTH.
  5. Should have put Ward-Prowse in the future one, Rickie in the one with the badge kissing, and Barnard smashing a bottle over some skate fans head in the for the passion one.
  6. Given how popular the Premier League is across the globe these days I'm starting to wonder if the kit does indeed look like the mock ups whether the radical change from red and whites stripes is because Cortese liked it or if it's designed to appeal to a far east audience, ala Cardiff City. Perhaps we're trying to get some investment by increasing our appeal over there, step 1 was completed with the signing of Tadanari Lee.
  7. Was a cracking game last time Anderlecht were at St Marys, that Champions League ticket package seems very reasonable too, although to boost the attendances a bit wouldn't of done much harm to round it off to £50 and include Wolves in it.
  8. £25? Lol yeah all the best, think I'll give it a miss.
  9. Cheers for posting that. Mr Allen was my PE teacher at Bitterne Park, top bloke, sounds like he helped push Aaron on to where he is now.
  10. Seeing as blindness is a disability it's only fair that they pay the same as all disabled supporters. Should consider themselves lucky they had free tickets in the first place.
  11. As if HMRC's court room failures against Cheats FC hasn't made me sick enough lately, I get a bloody letter through today saying I haven't paid enough tax and owe them £60. God bless HMRC? **** you HMRC.
  12. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb.html Saints crest now added to the line up on the official site. Guess that makes us officially Premier League.
  13. I hope they're filming on the day one of the guys luck runs out.
  14. Hate to be a pedant but Drogba has never scored against us. Time for Torres to step up now, he's got some big boots to fill.
  15. Copse Road is in Townhill, not Bitterne Park. How dare they mix us up with that dump! What hope for his son if thats how he chooses to behave in public? Utter scumbag.
  16. There was indeed a big crowd that night! As you said it was when there was still a lot of ill feeling towards Spurs and Hoddle. Pretty sure we won 1-0 through a Chrissy Baird goal.
  17. It was played on the same day as Prem fixtures last season too. With the exception of the 2005 final I always find it a boring game, usually a 1-0 as both teams are so edgy.
  18. Wonder if we'll try and cash in on our new found fame with the return of a 3rd kit?
  19. Don't forget this murder from last year which the man involved is currently on trial for http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/8981374.Woman_s_body_found_in_Southampton_flat/?ref=rss
  20. If it carries on like this between now and then I'll have my doubts, hopefully there's covers down on the pitch.
  21. Not as much as we've missed Chung IMO.
  22. He continues to prove just what a complete **** he really is. Actually wanted Chelsea to win too, now I hope they lose and Terry takes the brunt of a media ****storm.
  23. So then put simply, forget the other 45 games, forget any refereeing mistakes, forget any last minute equalisers, Saturday is a cup final in our own back yard, with a ratio of 11 Saints fans to their 1, against one of the worst teams in the division. I've been a Saints fan long enough to know if there's one thing we usually manage to do, it's pull off a final day win when required. Believe. COYR. WIFM.
  24. Can see West Ham getting 2 or 3 goals this half easily, Just a matter of time.
  25. Another thumbs up for O2 from me, been with them about 4 years and not really had any issues.
