  1. I thought he'd already been arrested over this? Or was he just questioned under caution last time?

What a day that was! One of my favourite ever bits of commentary on that video, "you do not keep out a Rickie Lambert penalty".
  3. Bit like looking at a photo of an ex with her new fella that. Worse that he's wearing a blue and white tie, makes me think of them s****s down the M27.
  4. Touch of class as usual from the guy for thanking us fans and players for the support. Aside from when he plays us of course I wish him all the best at Reading.
  5. Worry ye not, my fag packet maths tell me that looking at previous seasons, 50 points is the benchmark for survival. The skates are currently on 34 points with 6 to play, a total of 18 points available which would put them on 52 points. However though they'd have to win all of their next 6 games to reach that target, which whilst not impossible is highly unlikely. Less than 5 wins and they'll be down. This is of course assuming the 10 points don't get added for one reason or another.
  6. Indeed. I remember watching Matty set the record straight on Soccer Saturday when Ronaldo reached 100 Premier League goals and every media outlet was claiming he was the first midfielder to do so.
  7. This. Cost me about £8 to park there last time I went, as opposed to the criminal £20 for pre booking via O2.
  8. I saw that too, typical twitchy **** deflecting the blame away from himself for the loss. They need at least 15 points from 8 games, could be down in a few weeks hopefully!! We were class today, reminds me of the saints of old raising their game for the big teams and struggling against the dross. Morgan was incredible today, chased everything and bossed the centre of the pitch, equally frightening and exciting just how good he could be in 2-3 years time. Good to see J-Rod further showing his potential again, he's starting to play without fear and looks all the better for it.

    Artur Boruc

Boruc was top drawer today. Having a top class keeper in goal is so so important in the context of a football season, such a shame he wasn't played every game from his arrival. Good to have a bit of a character in the team too, like the way he slaps himself before kickoff and his little dance before goal kicks, nutter. Had to laugh at Suarez giving him a load of gob towards the end, bet he wouldn't be that brave away from the pitch.
  10. Embarassing result in the context of our season,we were made to look ordinary by the worst team in the league. Questions really need to be asked of MP, we've got one win, against a poor Man City, since he took over. The happy clappers can stick their "players are happy double training under MP" and Fergie claiming we're the best team to go to OT this season b.s right up their arses. His pressing tactics have cost us a goal again, shocking long ball over the top. It might have worked in La Liga which is a more relaxed style of football, but we've been punished today and against Newcastle last week for it. I'm convinced theres no way we'd have lost today under Adkins. Everyone connected to the club, fans included, need to stop this crap about us pushing for a European place and accept we are in a relegation battle, and we're no where near as good as some of our fans seem to think we are. The table doesn't lie, we're down the bottom for a reason. Shocking atmosphere again today btw, shame more our fans couldnt have concentrated more on getting behind the team rather than worrying about Harry ****ing Redknapp.
  11. I'd be livid if it was our club, but as a neutral I'd much rather a dragon then a ****ing bluebird. On that note are there plans to rip out all their seats and replace with Red ones?
  12. Didn't expect much today to be honest, don't understand why we always seem to be poor when the squad have had a break. Defending really was awful at time, and like others have said the decisions to a) drop Punch and b) weigh Lallana down with the burden of captaincy assisted in our downfall today. Seriously though we are not as good as some of our fans think we are. We're in the position we are because we deserve to be, and we are in a relegation battle, talk of finishing 10th etc is plain ridiculous.
  13. Wouldn't quite go that far personally, our results under Gray prior to those 2 games were shocking. Remember us clearly suffering over Hoddle's walkout when Ipswich came to town and dispatched us 3-0 in Grays first game.
  14. Have I missed something this week, annoying skate at work claims they've got a billionaire trying to buy them?
  15. They'll always be Cinnamon Graham's to me. What a stupid name change.
  16. I've had a chat with my future father in law about this subject, we agreed that at the time of release Alien was probably a very scary film as there was little else like it. Naturally as generations change we become more immune to the things we see. Personally I don't find it the least bit frightening, and by today's standards its a pretty average film TBH. As a man bought up on the action films of the 80's it's fair to say I prefer the sequel by a country mile.
  17. Dunno what's worse, this thread,or the fact that people still can't spell the name of our saviour properly.
  18. I can't even comprehend how the graphics are going to look on the next generation of consoles, honestly how much better can they get, and what the hell are they going to look like in 6-7 years time when the PS5, new Xbox are announced?
  19. Really liked him as an attacking midfielder, not a big fan of him when he played up top though. That said he did score some important goals for us. Remember his run from the halfway line when we beat Everton in Hoddles last game, or the last minute winner against Sunderland at SMS.
  20. I like centre midfielders that get stuck in and give away a foul or two, shows that they're battling out there. Don't see why we need him to see a sports psychologist, he's been class this season and don't want him to give less than the 100% he has been for fear of a yellow card.
  21. Could have been an absolute legend for us if he'd managed to get his head right. How we could have done with a fit Marian in the relegation season of 04/05 or at the Cup Final.
  22. Can't believe Man Utd have had all 6 points off us this season, ****ers.
  23. Was worth watching purely for the Saints Alive programme they had on once a week. Remember Steve-O from Jackass appearing on the channel once to promote a show he was in at the Guildhall.

Dodds testimonial was the Wednesday before the Brighton game
  25. 26 of 31, can't believe I missed off Crouch.
