Uprising by Muse, been playing it just before kickoff since we were in League 1 and its stuck with us ever since. Reminds me of the good times we've had!

Our punishment was for going into Admin past the season deadline, theirs is for coming OUT of admin. Two completely different incidents. Is quite amusing seeing all the PST sadjobs, I mean nutjobs, who carried on predicting they were toast. Far from it IMO.

We were expected to get out of League 1 quite easily to be fair, but to storm the Championship in the manner we did in our maiden season was an incredible achievement. Even more so to have never left the top 2 spots for the entire season.

Gaston Ramirez will tear this league apart.

The "little things in life that really annoy you" thread
bpsaint replied to JackFrost's topic in The Lounge
People that drive past The Station pub and don't indicate that they plan to go straight up Bullar Road. It's a junction, indicate. James Corden. The Human Rights act. Drivers, usually women (not being sexist, just an observation), that don't realise that the hose on the petrol pump will stretch to the other side of the car and would rather just block the more intelligent drivers whilst they wait for a free pump which corresponds with their petrol cap. -
Can't disagree with what most others have said really, should be an open game with a few goals which I'd like to all be scored by us but am expecting a draw as its not the easiest place to go. Doesn't seem too long ago since I went there and Lee Trundle was their superstar, built themselves in to a decent football club since.

Cough..Kevin Davies....

My opinion remains the same as the Chelsea fan situation a few weeks ago,if you're an away fan sat in the home end and decide to celebrate like a **** when your team scores then you deserve what you get.

Fantastic news, another one signed up. Now can we please PLEASE get Boruc tied down!

For the PFA awards its 23 or under at the start of the season so with that in mind I'd have no issue giving my vote to Morgan on both categories.

Good article that, nice to see others recognising how Rickie is so much more than just a big man up front. I do wonder, and I wonder if Rickie does, what a player he could have been if he'd knuckled down at an earlier age? Oh and is that a genuine quote from Grant Holt? What an arrogant **** if so.

Quinn is getting right on my tits.

Christ we look appalling.

Sony had an Easter offer for this from the PSN for the whole game plus downloadable add-ons for just £19.99, so I thought it'd be rude not to. Only played for a few hours but my initial impressions are good, very good. I'd have no qualms in saying that visually, it's one of the best games I've ever seen. The island and surroundings have been done to great detail, and the human characters are incredibly lifelike. It's fair to say the series needed a reboot, I hadn't played a TR game since TRIII on the PS1 and this is a million miles away from that. U!fortunately for me you can see the inspiration it has taken from the Uncharted series, which of course was a kind of evolvement of TR in itself, so some of the set pieces or button bashing sequences don't seem as thrilling as they could because Uncharted set the bar ridiculously high for that. For example climbing up the creaky remains of a downed aircraft before it falls doesn't even come close to the hanging train of Uncharted II in the squeaky bum ranks. That said though it is proving to be a beautiful and enjoyable game, and hopefully by the time I've completed it it'll have formed its own identity as a great game capable of standing on its own merits alongside Uncharted and so many others.

I was seriously looking forward to Star Wars:1313 too, looks like it may never see the light of day now which is a shame.

wow, I literally just opened up the forum to ask if anyone has seen House Of Cards as I'd heard good things. I'll take your post as a sign that I should watch it.

Signed Premier League ball - (Signed by Saints Squad and Pochettino)

Nice ball, although I must ask is it one of the professional match balls the team use, or the £12 replica available from Argos? -
Barry Hornes' last minute equaliser against Bolton is certainly up there.

Agreed, our quick passing and pressing game would suit European football, my point about being ill equipped was as you've said, due to our lack of quality depth in our squad. If we can consolidate and perhaps qualify for Europe next season ( assuming we stay up this year) I think we'll be ready to give it a good go. I can't wait to play the likes of ACHE Mellbalov as mention by another poster. Travelling to the arse end of Europe for a good beer up and to watch my team play international club football is an exciting thought.

Didn't he say this would be his last job in football or did I imagine that? I'm struggling to think of where he would go next if he was to leave QPR. We know he doesn't want to be too far from home, so that narrows it down to the south of England. Can't think of any London teams that would be after a new manager, not unless Fat Sam or Martin Jol were to leave their jobs, and couldn't see him taking on a Championship job unless it was a club that were planning on throwing an unlimited amount of money on a promotion push. Maybe he'd go off twitching abroad somewhere?

Even with the Adkins thing we should smash them. They looked a complete shambles against Arsenal yesterday.

Fonte is clearly the better defender, madness to start Jos over him.

Following on from a previous post of mine 50 points is on average the number needed for safety, therefore they need to win all 5 of their last 5 games. shalalalalalalala......
