We concede pretty much the exact momen that the s****s scored. Really going to be one of those days today I think.

Lost all optimism with the news of Lovren. Hope Jos has the game of his life today espically after last years horror show. As mentioned we need to sign a decent defender as backup for Lovren or Fonte.

Currently on honeymoon in sunny Mexico but still gutted I wasn't at St Mary's instead. First half was crazy, easily as domininant as we were against Fulham, at least Hull gave it a go 2nd half. Glad Woy was there to watch Lallana today, he really is looking like he's well and truly found his feet in this league. Gutted in the manner at which we conceded again, 2 totally preventable goals in the past 2 games now.

How the hell do I re-post photos from twitter? Amazon games have just uploaded a photo of their warehouse full of PS4's

Ticket Details: Sunderland Away - League Cup
bpsaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
There may be a sensible explanation to this, but given that Newcastle and Sunderland can't both play at home on the same night, why on earth did they not have one match on the Tuesday and one on the Wednesday? Why move it by a whole week instead? -
Still a nice touch that the club have carried this on through the Cortese era, I'd really like it if it didn't descend into a minutes applause like it did last season though.

Osvaldo was in Casa Brasil last night with his partner, noticed that he was neither drinking nor did he go for the buffet option. Was happy to pose for photos with fans.

I enjoy these glimpses of the past from the club, reminds me how much fun it has been to be a Saints fan since ML took over. This video reminds me how good Butterfield was at crossing, how good Chaplow was for us before his injury, and what a big part Guly played getting us out of the lower leagues. - - - Updated - - - I enjoy these glimpses of the past from the club, reminds me how much fun it has been to be a Saints fan since ML took over. How much of a drop in attendances are being caused by the increase in people watching games on dodgy streams or in pubs that have foreign satellite? There's more pubs than ever before showing all our games, including now The Station in Bitterne, which has been a pre drinking choice for many fans for years, how many of them are going to choose to just stay in the pub in future and save money? I know you can't beat going to the match but when moneys tight you can see why people would choose to watch on the box.
-
only 6000? We had nearly 9k a few years back, unlucky s****s, behind us in attendances again.

It's fair to say Trevor is easily becoming one of my favourite video game characters of all time, absolutely hilarious fruitcake of a man.

Probably to do with this.... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10689338.Five_in_court_as_15_charged_after_mass_drugs_raids/

Lost for words after that latest episode, incredible tv. Sure as hell aint gonna be no happy ending.

Difficult to argue with this really. Despite the wealth of talent MP has to choose from we played much more attractive football under Adkins, just didn't get the results. Now we're just playing crap and not getting the results.

Played football alongside him at St Marys for Football Aid, really nice guy, was surprised when I later learned who he was and what he'd done with his life. Will get round to reading Born Fearless one day, it's been sat on my shelf for a while.

Get in lad! Well deserved.

This article does well to explain the end of last nights episode bearsy http://www.forbes.com/sites/allenstjohn/2013/08/26/breaking-bad-511-recap-the-case-of-the-missing-backstory-or-wtf-did-jesse-realize-about-the-ricin-cigarette/

2-2. Forum meltdown due to people complaining we couldn't beat crappy old Sunderland at home, while the more sensible posters agree that 4 points from the first 2 games isn't a bad return. that being said would ****ing love a 4-0 win.

I had the impression that Nolan, in keeping with the realism theme, used JGL as a different take on Robin instead of the green Y fronted Robin we're all used to. Once you find out via the little twist at the end of TDKR what Blakes actual name is it makes you think back to how he was like a sidekick to Batman for the film. I thought Bruce Wayne leading him to the cave was his way of passing over the mantle of the bat. I'm quite certain it won't be a simple as Superman vs Batman, as well, Superman would flatten Bats. They'll end up teaming up to fight a bigger threat in the end IMO.

This was my initial thought when I heard the news of Affleck getting the role. In fairness to the bloke his stock has risen considerably in recent times, Argo and The Town were both very well directed, and acted by Affleck so I find some of the reactions towards him a little OTT. As mentioned in a previous post i'm pretty sure the reason they aren't using JGL is out of respect for Christopher Nolan and the world he created. His Batman films were made to be very realistic, and almost un-comicbook like in the way they were written, particularly The Dark Knight. The underlying theme throughout his films was that anyone could be Batman, he was a symbol designed to inspire ordinary people. It would be a kick in the teeth to him to then bring Superman and whatever other unworldly beings into that universe, so i'd expect to see a Batman more like the 1989-1997 movies rather than the Nolan films.

All very sad and that what's it got to do with Saints?

Why go all the way to Turkey when you could just go to Fratton Park. Everyone knows they have the bestest fans in the wholest world with a crowd so noisy it would make the Boca/River Plate derby seem like a church service. Cough, bull****. in reply to your post I would love to see Saints play somewhere with fans like the Turkish clubs. Feyenoord away is another ground I'd like to experience for the atmosphere.

Cracking feeling to win on opening day, start as we mean to go on!! More than happy to eat my pre match words about a 3-1 loss!!
-
Man of the moment Lambert to carry on where he left off and put us 1-0 up, but West Brom's attack show us up in defence and we end up losing 3-1. Hope I'm wrong.

I believe he should be captain anyway. Full stop.
