Asked this before but does anyone on here still watch live football on sopcast player? Always tended to have high quality streams on there but can't find any websites with sopcast links on since my usual was shut down.

Are we finally in a position to keep our youngsters?

You've called my statement silly, and then pretty much wrote the same point I was trying to make. Go you. -

I wouldn't get overly excited by the fact JWP signed a 5 year contract, they're not worth the paper they're printed on these days. All it means is if another club wants to sign him they'll have to fork out a hell of a lot more to do so, which is extra money in the clubs coffers. The club make a big song and dance about him pledging his future to the club, and it appeases the supporters, but it isn't hard to read between the lines. In response to the original question, we will always be a selling club, I'm afraid that's how modern football is. We'll never be big enough to tempt players to stay should the Man United's and Chelsea's of the world come a knocking, every player has a price. -
There was more chance of Sunday getting postponed tbh, and the pitch was perfect come kick off time, you'll be fine.

No big deal, Shaw has done well.

1720 FOOTBALL Southampton manager Nigel Adkins does not feels he owes predecessor Alan Pardew a debt of gratitude for the work done before his arrival at the south coast club. Adkins said: "Whatever situation arose, he moved on. I am the manager of Southampton Football Club. We've just had back-to-back promotions, we're doing ever so well in our forward progression." The conspiracy theorist in me curious as to whether those are the true feelings of NA or what he may have been told to say. Every man and his dog can see Adkins inherited a very very good League 1 team when he took over, deserves some thanks to AP at least.

" bluefeast added 11:07 - Nov 21 We will see ,however he is a great organiser and communicator with back for , and doesnt just stay glued to his line like our current 3 keepers seem to do." They're in for a shock...

"Saints may step in with a loan offer and make the move permanent in January." says all I need to know tbh. If a qualified journalist can't even get the facts right about when players can and can't be bought in on loan then I'll consider the article to be a load of B.S.

The last time I saw the bloke was there was a mutual applause being shared as we had just won 4-0 away from home, was a shock what transpired the following Monday. He deserves at least a round of applause for what he achieved here, perhaps the fair weather fans that didn't bother to come and watch games in L1 have a different viewpoint. Granted we could have achieved more that season but we were still recovering from turmoil at the start of the season, like NC has always said if the Pinnacle farce hadn't delayed the takeover by ML for a month we could have had a squad fit and prepared to hit the ground running. If those first 10 games had been like those when we finally found our form we'd have been promoted a season earlier easily. He helped install a winning mentality into the team, signed some key players that got us out of League 1 and some of those played a key role in promotion from the Championship, espically RL without whom i dread to think where we'd be. He also deserves credit for revieving the fortunes of Adam Lallana, as i seem to recall he was ready to leave following the dutch duo debacle. That lad is now our captain FFS. That first season in L1 was one of the most enjoyable to be a saints fan for years, as we were regularly winning games comfortably home and away, not to mention the trip to Wembley, regardless of it being a tin point trophy. Basically anyone who thinks its acceptable to boo the bloke after the foundations he helped lay is nothing short of an imbecile.

Anyone watching it on sopcast player? Can't find a decent channel.

Well done Gazza FFS

Cracking half that, yes QPR have been **** defensively but we're playing as a side with so much more confidence. Need to keep our heads after the break, survive the inevitable spell of pressure, then get a third to kill it off completely. Hope Nige doesn't do something stupid like change Lambert for Guly after 60 mins.

Love the 1977 candy striped shirt. Did the one available to the fans not include the cup winners badge like the team had?

10 minutes behind as I paused the game, what a goal! Good to see England losing again, give the media something to moan about.

Bit unfair on Hammond IMO, I believe we lost against due to the silly Hollywood pass Fox tried to play across the pitch in the build up to their first which sent straight to their man, and then making no effort whatsoever to prevent the cross which Roberts headed in. Although you could also lay some blame on Davis who was glued to the spot. Then of course there's the suicidal backpass from Fonte to Davis for their 3rd....

Adrian Caceras, was a bit of a hot shot in the reserves for us and I thought he'd go on to be a star but it turned out he was a bit crap. Funnily enough I saw him in action playing against Perth Glory when i visited Australia, so he found his level really. Dani Rogrigues was another, did well in the reserves, flirted with the first team a bit then disappeared. I know he ended up at Bompey for a while, don't know what happened after that. Oh and as mentioned above Frederico "The Torpedo" Arias. He was touted as being a lightning quick skillful winger which got us fans excited, then turned out he was just a bit **** really.

Queen at Wembley Stadium, closely followed by Guns N Roses at the same place.

Going to be a long journey home tonight, feel a bit numb really. After all the hard work and effort we put in to get up to the Prem we're going to go down with a whimper. Clapped Nige as hard as I could when he walked over, don't think I'll be seeing him in charge of us again.

Just seen a Baggie waving a Pompey flag get knocked sparko for his efforts near the ground, made my night anyway. Suprised by lack of Boruc, guess the water bottle incident is being taken pretty seriously.

Drive Safely now that winter is here - Don't end up like this lot!

A very sobering video indeed. As already mentioned it a shame to see so many 3rd parties involved due to the actions of some complete *****s. Just curious, but how do they get so much footage of these accidents? Is it compulsory to have an onboard 'black box' over there? -
Looking forward to returning to The Vine, one of my fave away day pubs. Surprised we've still not sold out yet, especially with the woman at the T.O. claiming they expected to do so "quite quickly".

Dry your eyes, what did you expect from a reserve side that never play together. Looking at the fixture dates before hand it was always clear we wouldn't put a strong team out. Credit to you for going to the match but the get a grip comment was aimed a people talking about refunds. It's football, and sometimes **** happens.
-
Sums it up for me, don't know what people were expecting tonight when that team was announced. As mentioned above they beat a strong Everton team previously. Talking about refunds? Get a grip FFS, it's football.

I used to like listening to what Pardew had to say after each game, was often brutally honest and didn't churn out the same happy clappy rubbish even if we'd had an embarrassing defeat.
