Ha! Skates fucked it!

The whole Stewart fiasco is farcical. He’s clearly fucked, and the club are trying to play it down for some reason. To make the bench at the end of last season, yet not travel with the team to Spain, and then not feature in any of pre season suggests something’s happened in his recovery, or another injury.

Hopefully the rise in counterfeits give way to cheaper official gear from clubs and international teams. They’ve been ripping people off for years overcharging for a kit that costs pennies to make. Instead of Wednesday and The FA threatening to take action they should take a good look at themselves in the mirror, especially with cost of living as high as it is.

This baffles me as well. I know as fans we like to think we know better than the coaches at times, but when it comes to the keeper situation at this club I’m genuinely mystified how the relevant people cannot see that our GK department is the weakest part of our squad, and has been for a few years now.

Indeed this, people go on about age as if these guys are going to get to 24 years old and suddenly turn into prime Henry. They should be showing signs by now they’re going to become something, and it ain’t happening.

Was worried he was going to sign that extension that we offered him. Had his moments, but I’m glad we no longer have to watch him in a Saints shirt anymore.

I’m pretty sure the original was one arranged by someone on here, and we were all invited to contribute to the cost? That one I’m sure is the one that went all manky and had to be disposed of. The club did replace it though with their own which made an appearance at the League Cup final. Don’t know where it is now but would have been nice to see it at Wembley back in May. It was before the opening game at St Mary’s with Eapanyol.
