Good news, had to happen. Once again though as with Ralph they’ve left it too long to make a difference this season. Cooper would likely get us up, and could begin building for next season, however would he just end up getting sacked after promotion as he did with Leicester and see us back to square one?
-
Unfortunately the whole time Rasmus is calling the shots I have zero faith in us making the right decision on who replaces Russ.
-
That’s one benefit to the shite 7pm kick off on a Sunday - the weekends practically over so at least those useless cunts can’t completely ruin it for us.
-
Oh I totally agree, he needs to go 100%. I just find the get out of our club message particularly spiteful for a guy that did at least lead us to a victory at Wembley. A simple “time to go Russ” would have conveyed the same message with a bit less venom attached to it. That is more for the Redknapps and Nathan Jones kind of characters.
-
Not criticising them for trying, it’s more the fact that their ire should be aimed at the likes of Rasmus who has orchestrated this shit show. The “get out of our club” message seems particularly volatile for a guy that at least led us to promotion.

That banner was a bit noddy.

Pinder. She can’t lower herself to shagging this failure now.
-
Two new records broken.” In fact, Southampton are the only team in Premier League history to go in at half-time trailing by a five-goal margin on multiple occasions.” courtesy of sky sports, and also “the first time spurs have ever scored 5 in the first half in the premier league”
-
Leicester was 5-0 at HT Edit: I remember it well as it’s the moment I walked out the ground
-
This is worse than the 0-9. At least we had the excuse of being down to 10 men. That first half ended with a fifth in the 45th minute too. This could easily be 10.
-
Aim some vitriol towards the bench and directors box for one? You think many other sets of fans would just sit there and take this shit? It’s a fucking disgrace our fans are paying to watch this.
-
Can’t hear anything from our fans. Nothing. All spurs fans.
-
All I could hear was Spurs fans chanting we want ENIC out.
-
How are the fans at the game just sat there accepting this shit.

Back when the stadium was built Rupes said the foundations were already in place in case we wanted to expand the Chapel, Northam and Kingsland to a total of 48k capacity. The Itchen cannot be expanded on though, and he said to do the expansion would cost the same as it did to build the stadium in the first place, so that’s £32 million back in 2001 prices, so I’m guessing closer to £50 mill now. It’s likely though we’d only do the Kingsland to start with which would make it similar to Cardiff City Stadium. It’d probably take 10 years before we see a return on the investment realistically.

9 points adrift and it’s not even Christmas. 9 fucking points. Utter embarrassment.
-
Skates have been shite this season, and should be cut adrift but frustratingly some of the others down there are having a worse time of it. Just think it’ll be hilarious if they miss out on their derby because we both get relegated.
-
If the board had any sense at all then sacking Martin and getting a replacement in would likely see a new manager bounce against a turbulent Spurs and a possible 3 points. Therefore I expect us to do nothing and maybe sack him on Monday after a 0-4 defeat.
-
Hi Jack. Don’t pull people’s hair you tit, especially when there’s a hundred cameras watching you.
-
This echoes my thoughts. At least we know it won’t be Frank Lampard thankfully.
-
Have to say I do enjoy the continued meltdown at Old Trafford with the latest “messiah” they’ve bought in. Until they sell the entire playing squad at that club and start all over again it’s gonna be rinse and repeat each season….hopefully!!
-
I know it’s bad down here but looks like conditions are going to be even worse up Birmingham way tomorrow, fully expect most games to be postponed although surprised they’ve not done so already. The games featuring the big 6 will probably go ahead still, foreign audiences and all that.
-
On the subject of Spurs I’ve just seen that our home game with them next Sunday is a 7pm kick off. What an absolute awful time for a game of football, what’s the thinking behind that?
-
More in the sense we expect to get hammered by the “top 6”, no one really expects to lose by 5 or 6 goals against Villa.
-
Can easily see this being a surprise hammering from Villa, they’re very good on the attack and we’ll play right into their hands.
