exit2 Posted 28 June, 2009 Posted 28 June, 2009 Hopefully on at the end of this week or early next week, we will be able to see what the pricing structure is for this coming season. I know there is no adult membership which to be fair is not needed for league 1 as as said by others on here our average attendance will be lower due to the league we are in (although Im hoping to be proved wrong on this ) What prices are you expecting?
Um Bongo Posted 28 June, 2009 Posted 28 June, 2009 £300 tops for a season ticket. £20 tops for a matchday ticket.
krissyboy31 Posted 28 June, 2009 Posted 28 June, 2009 I still don't see why there is no membership. Extra income for very little outlay, allowing the holders first refusal (after ST holders) on tickets for big cup matches and certain away fixtures (especially as many grounds we will visit this year will have very limited capacity for away fans). And.... If we're being optimistic here, there is a possibility of Wembley, either by way of the play-offs or the JPT (or ultra-optimistically, both).
Saint_Jonny Posted 28 June, 2009 Posted 28 June, 2009 Agreed KB31, If it comes down to it and I cant get a ticket to a big match because there isnt a membership available ill be pretty ****ed off. I assume there will be a new online service set up that allows anybody to purchase tickets online.

Whitey Grandad Posted 28 June, 2009 Posted 28 June, 2009 They'd better be quick or all those of us holding money for season tickets will spend it on holidays.
dickyhale Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 (edited) We got cash saved in the drawer to pay for an adult and and a child that way it would save the club the credit card charges (about 2%) Edited 29 June, 2009 by dickyhale
shurlock Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 If anything, membership wouls be a nice little earner, a low-cost way of signalling your loyalty without splashing out for a ST while giving you priority for more important games. Alot of people kid themselves that they'll use their membership - what if value- but know deep down they wont (it didnt help them with Forest away last season, for instance). Thats not stopped them renewing their membership, however. That will be truer this year, so even less reason for the club to scrap it.
fish fingers Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I would expect to pay around £300 to renew my ST
stevegrant Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I would expect to pay around £300 to renew my ST Likewise, and I'd have thought matchday prices will be £20 for most games, possibly with £16 or £18 for some games where they're expecting particularly low attendances.

Cheeky Monkey Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 £300 tops for a season ticket. £20 tops for a matchday ticket. Cheltenham in the league below have ST's at 350 for adult and match day tickets at £19........
bungle Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I would expect to pay around £300 to renew my ST Hopefully I won't end up next to you this season.
krissyboy31 Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Cheltenham in the league below have ST's at 350 for adult and match day tickets at £19........ They haven't got a 32,000 seater stadium to try and fill!
The9 Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Cheltenham in the league below have ST's at 350 for adult and match day tickets at £19........ They do have a tiny ground in a "posh" town though.
SaintDonkey Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 £300 tops for a season ticket. £20 tops for a matchday ticket. A touch optimistic - £300 quid is cheaper than most of the other clubs in League 1. Should be about right for a renewal price maybe.
fish fingers Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Hopefully I won't end up next to you this season. Pretty difficult with your belly.
The Rover Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 £300 sounds about right. They need to make the price the same for renewals AND for new Season Ticket purchases though. We have a big stadium to try and fill and it wouldn't be a very clever idea to penalise new and lapsed customers who we badly need.
Ampersound Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I agreed that it most likely will be about 20 quid for a match day ticket. Its 15 quid for Aldershot in League two which I've used for comparison.
SaintDonkey Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I did some digging around on season ticket prices last time this came up: For reference season ticket prices for a selection of mid table League 1 teams for next season (all full prices rather than family discounts or early bird deals): Oldham - £303 Bristol Rovers - £300 Colchester - £304 Walsall - £325 Stockport - £322 Leyton Orient - £320 [/Quote] I would be surprised if prices were less than about £310 for new season ticket holders.

Then again they might want to reward the loyalty of people who actually went to watch us keel over for the whole of last season instead of finding whatever excuse they needed to save themselves a few quid.

TBF I don't think there will be any difference in price, they just haven't got the time to carry out staggered pricing (IMO).

We'll be lucky if they have the STs sent out before the first game, to be honest, but that doesn't mean they can't implement two tiers of pricing, as they already have the database.
saints_is_the_south Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I'd imagine the best & quickest way of doing it would be putting renewals & general sale on sale at the same time at a different price.
View From The Top Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Due to holiday and new teaching commitments I'll be missing quite a few games but I'll still be happy to buy a season ticket if it's around £300 - £320 for adults and £100 - £125 for juniors. Higher than that means a game by game basis
SP Saint Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 I think I'll wait to see who called the police after a post on here by Fitzhugh Fella before buying a Season Ticket. I'm not sure how much money up front I want to give to people who harass Saints fans.
