Lets hope they behave better in Southampton.

skintsaint Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 Ajax beat Bristol City 4-0 I'll be expecting us to get a solid 6-1 thumping. Bristol City manager Gary Johnson refused to panic after seeing his side comprehensively outplayed by Ajax in last night's Ashton Gate friendly. The Dutch masters proved far too good for their Championship opponents, scoring twice in each half to run out comfortable winners. eeek
saints_is_the_south Posted 16 July, 2009 Share Posted 16 July, 2009 Apparently the Ajax fans were throwing bricks amongst other objects at people, might have to dig out one of the hard hats at work & take it on sat!

Mouldy Coat Posted 17 July, 2009 Share Posted 17 July, 2009 it's fair to say no doubt Ajax will have a number of supporters 'looking for it' on Saturday. Trying to earn a reputation on tour in England. I think a mob of 30 strong Dutch will be enough to make our yoof hide.
Baj Posted 17 July, 2009 Share Posted 17 July, 2009 Make peace and love with our Dutch friends when they are here. The traditional 'alright mate' is pronouned 'klertzak', say it with a smile.

View From The Top Posted 17 July, 2009 Share Posted 17 July, 2009 Just sing some anti-semitic songs, that should calm them down a bit. I think pointing out that they speak Dutch and not German thanks to our Grandfathers would also go help ease the situation.

eelpie Posted 17 July, 2009 Share Posted 17 July, 2009 I hope not. That would be so tragic. Anyway Ajax fans should be quite happy after celebrating their tenth goal. It's going to be exhibition footie from the visitors, but do we care if we lose? We have nothing to lose.
